Today, August 4th, is a CRITICAL day in my home state of Michigan.
The election polls throughout the State of Michigan are officially open from now until 8 p.m. this evening. There are thousands of voting locations from Monroe to Marquette in today’s Democratic primary election to choose your next member of Congress and your next next United States Senator from Michigan.
Michigan has an open primary election which means you don’t have to be pre-registered as a Democrat. If you need to know where to vote today, just go to Michigan Voter Information Center.
I urge you to vote for the candidate I am endorsing for the U.S. Senate, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed — who is also endorsed by the United Auto Workers, the American Federation of Teachers, Bernie Sanders, AOC, thousands of our fellow progressive Michiganders and the National Nurses Union. Please vote — and if you know anyone living in any of these states, call or text them to remind them to vote. After today, 14 more states have Democratic primaries. One of them might be yours. Don’t sit them out! Every single vote counts. We must take our country back!
