House of Traitors, Trump Tower of Treason

Episode 265: Rumble with Michael Moore

For the last few episodes of my Rumble with Michael Moore podcast, I’ve been the harbinger of good news. And it felt good to take a moment with you to celebrate the historic Blue Wall we built together over the past year.

But in spite of our success, the truth is that dark clouds still hang above us. The disgraced and fascistic ex-president still looms large despite his electoral losses. White supremacists are trying to blow up our electrical grid. Overseas, a group of current and ex-German military personnel were caught and arrested last week for planning to stage a coup in their country. And back here in the U.S., Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has promised the next insurrection at the Capitol will be armed and it will succeed.

But most frightening, 128 U.S. Senators and House members who voted on January 6, 2021 to overturn the election, thus overthrowing the government, will be re-sworn in to Congress just three weeks from today.

On this episode, I take a deep dive into our biggest terrorist threat — us. Or, more specifically, the fact that one of our two major parties is led by hundreds of elected officials who still want to overthrow the government by overturning the 2020 election AND by suppressing the votes of Black Americans.

I call these efforts an act of treason.

Plus, the current and still twice-impeached leader of that party has now called for the “termination” of the United States Constitution — and demanded that he be installed as our unelected dictator. Madness! But it’s real, it’s still with us, and in 3 weeks 118 House members and 10 U.S Senators — all of whom voted on the night of January 6, 2021 to overturn the election — will be sworn in as part of our 118th U.S. Congress. This sacred headquarters of our Democracy will house 128 traitors who tried to overthrow our government. What are we to do about this?

To help create and cement the historical record, I name the names of each one of these traitors.

Please listen. Then pass this on to everyone you know.

We must not forget their names until each and every one of them is thrown out of office, and held accountable for their actions.

And each and every one of us must remain active, vigilant and ready to use every legal and nonviolent means to preserve our fragile Democracy.

A good start would be for the Justice Department to put the chief ringleader behind bars — or, at the very least, enforce the 14th Amendment which states that any citizen who has “engaged in insurrection” shall be permanently prohibited from ever holding any elective office again.

Like it or not, it’s 1933 my friends. And this is the fork in the road.
