Reuniting with Lila Lipscomb & Abdul Henderson

Episode 211: Rumble w/ Michael Moore

Dear friends,

Today’s podcast episode features my conversations -- 20 years after 9/11 and 17 years after they first told their stories in Fahrenheit 9/11 -- with Lila Lipscomb, the mother from Flint, Michigan whose son died while serving in Iraq and Abdul Henderson, the former Marine Corporal who came with me to Capitol Hill to recruit members of congress to enlist their children in the war.

The fortitude, love, faith (and humor!) that keeps Lila going strong is so infectious.

The poise, strength and determination that Abdul continues to carry himself with is so admirable.

It’s been an honor to know both of them and stand by both of them during some very difficult times. I love them both dearly.

I hope you’ll give this a listen and share with anyone who you think will enjoy it.

-Mike
