Rage and Rumble with Tom Morello

Episode 212: Rumble w/ Michael Moore
8

Dear Friends,

For my latest episode of Rumble with Michael Moore, I had a conversation with my old friend, the co-founder of “Rage Against The Machine” and rock legend, Tom Morello.

We discussed making art while being locked down in a pandemic, his brilliant new album coming out next month, and we shared some old war stories — like the day we shut down the New York Stock Exchange when shooting the video for “Sleep Now In The Fire” more than 20 years ago.

We also talked about his epic performance with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band of “The Ghost of Tom Joad” in Anaheim, CA in 2008. You can watch it here:

And his mind-blowing new version of AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” with Bruce and Eddie Vedder, which is on his new album and which you can listen to here:

Tom’s new album is coming out on October 15th with an all-star list of collaborators including Bruce and Eddie, along with Chris Stapleton, Mike Posner, Damian Marley, Phantogram and many more. It’s brilliant. I hope you’ll check it out here.
