Michael, I of course am delighted that the “Red Wave” failed Fascist loving Republican expectation. As we see in Minnesota now is the time to advance in a logical and direct way to insure that the rights of women to control their own bodies is enshrined in law.
Shifting gears, I along with millions are hoping that the 1/6 Committee recommendations are fully accepted by the DOJ and Garland.
Here too, the calm application of law designed to deal with insurrection and traitors must proceed.
We can not exist as a nation governed by those who hold onto a vision empowered by ginned up resentments, racism, and when that fails the resorting to violent insurrection.
Eliminating gerrymandering is a key objective, for sure. Something else to consider: ranked choice voting. Ranked choice voting allows voters to escape the strict party-line restrictions - both literally in casting ballots in a primary, where a voter MUST vote according his/her party affiliation, and psychologically, where voters can crossover party lines if they find a candidate desirable, who is not in their party, but is appealing without feeling "guilt of party betrayal." This past midterm, here in Alaska, we where able to finally get rid of Sarah Palin - twice - largely as a result of ranked choice voting. When Don Young died, a special election was held to fill his seat and two Republicans ran against a native first nation Democrat (Mary Peltola). Peltola won. And then in the midterm for a 2-year House seat, the same trio ran and Peltola swept the field. The two Republicans, arrogantly refusing to concede to the other, split the GOP vote, confused the state Republicans and attracted the undecided to rank Peltola as their first choice. Voila! - Our first native-born House representative and Palin is (hopefully) politically dead.
Hi Mike! Thank you for today’s episode of Rumble! It was a treat to hear our great state celebrated as one of the midterm election’s triumphs! I’m very proud to live in a state where our top three officials are three powerhouse women (Whitmer, Nessel & Benson)! Keep up the great work, Sir! I’m looking forward to what you have planned for us in 2023!
Meanwhile, German prosecutors have called for a 97-year-old woman who was secretary to the SS commander of the Stutthof concentration camp to be convicted as an accessory to murder and given a two-year suspended sentence. #NeverForget ✌🏻
Love this episode. Inspiring. Love fairness. Honesty. I learned that at home and in school. How did we ever get to the way things are now? Thanks, Michael. Great start to the day.
I may have made a mistake. I just subscribed to Michael Moore's newsletter only to discover that he does not include the full transcript of his newsletter. What a bummer. I do not listen to podcasts. Maybe I am in the wrong crowd.
If you keep extolling the virtues of Canada you are going to get us invaded. This is serious. After the Clintons tried to get health care using Canada as an example the pro privatization forces increased their attack on our, (not perfect), system to a frenzy. Maybe talk about the issues without using us as the nirvana.
This was a wonderful episode, Michael, and I thoroughly enjoyed the music, especially “Michigan And Again.” Colorado accomplished much the same as you describe here for your great state, with the governor, both senators, the AG, and the state legislature being Democratic. There is also a blue majority in the House congressional delegation (in spite of the fact that there are three very conservative representatives, one of them being an all-out nutcase, who were sent back to the House. Two of them shouldn’t be there at all, because they voted to overturn the election.) In fact, the loss of Republican seats in the state legislature was so dramatic, creating a super majority, that one Republican called it an “extinction level event for the CO Republican party.” I love the word extinction when applied to Republicans, especially the party as it exists today. I wish you and your loved ones beautiful and happy holidays, however you plan to spend them.
I’m very happy to be in a Blue State!! Yay!! There are parts of California that are red; and the Republicans try to change more into red!! Thanks Michael!! I enjoy listening to your political views!! Merry Christmas!!🎄

As always I thank you for your courageous work!

I just signed a Common Cause petition urging the DOJ to act on this criminal referral – and I hope that you will, too: https://act.commoncause.org/petitions/tell-the-doj-act-on-the-criminal-referral-for-donald-trump/?source=email
I am so amazed and thankful for the incredible work you all put in to make this happen!
I am left smiling when I see the pictures of the smiling faces of your governor and others and so filled with gratitude to all!
We WILL end Gerrymandering! Christmas blessings and happy, healthy 2023 Michael!
Good job, Michigan 🥳

I donated to all 3 women running in Michigan because it was such an important state to win!
It says a lot that Whitmer won, after trump sent his white nationalists to try to kill her & then kidnap her‼️ WE ARE DONE ✅

Great article…love all that you do! Proud to live in TC area with you🥰
Gerrymandering was outlawed in NC before the recent election!

We need to put a state amendment to end gerrymandering in the state of Florida.
DeathSantis had no business gerrymandering our voting districts in favor of the Republicans.
