Hugs and Laughter to you, Hugs and Laughter to you, Hugs and Laughter, Dear Michael, Thank you for all the years of telling the truth and bringing Light to us. Thank you for having such a Heart for the people* You are one of the few, bigger on the inside, people I know.
Michael...just STOP!...and feel the love that comes your way....today, to celebrate your birth...and every day to remind you of how much you are treasured by so MANY! Much love to you and gratitude for all that you do to help us stay sane!
Thanks to all of you who responded to my message to Michael.....we are blessed to have him speaking truth ....and for us to find our allies on the Substack!@
It's your day, Michael! May it be filled with laughter, truth, friends, and , of course, dessert! I am thankful for all the words of enlightenment you have spread in the years since opening that door that led you to the world and us! Happy Birthday!
May you be showered with love and feel reason to rejoice, Michael. You are most deserved, giving so much of yourself as you do. With gratitude...I wish you a good one!
You stand for integrity. You also give us what we need to hear to persevere. I think we need not so much to fight, but to outsmart the opposition – as a Ukrainian jazz club and experimental theater owner put in this morning on NPR: we can laugh and we can be creative (which is more than they are capable of – the parenthetical statement within the parentheses is mine). If they don't get the joke, then they don't get the joke.
Belated Happy Birthday. 20 years ago right about now, I was in the audience at Cornell U. when you previewed parts of "Bowling For Columbine". Let's hope there are better times ahead. As George said, "If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there."
Happy Birthday! Thanks for offering so much of yourself in talent and in activism!

I just turned 80 and my son's card had a birthday poem on it: "May the beer be cold....and also, you're old."
Your life and your commitment to life is a gift to us all. Thank goodness for you!!
Happy Birthday Michael! Thank you for your tenacity. Celebrate you today!
