So I spent last night stuffing bags with campaign literature for a number of local candidates so that today's walkers will be set. My reward will be watching Fahrenheit 9/11. PS My sister got to see Kamala at the State Fair Grounds in WI last night. Woo hoo.
In Moore's Farenheight 9/11 from 2004, he severely criticizes warmonger Dick Cheney. Now Dick Cheney is voting for Kamala Harris. Isn't this additional proof that the Democrats have joined forces with the warmongers of America who used to be on the Republican side? Trump will end the Ukraine war which is why the warmongers have joined with Kamala Harris.
Just rewatched 11/9 such a powerful, brilliant film. It left me so deeply saddened. I'm living in such fear but more than that I feel I've lost. I've been on the fight since high school with Vietnam War protests, anti nuclear pprotests, on and on. This is not the world I envisioned for my retirement or my children's future. I vote, I participate, I try but I have to tell you I'm weary. Are humans this naive, we need to be working with all our forces to over come climate change and instead we're still chasing the power and money. Kind of feeling it's all going to implode, all things must pass maybe.

Thank you for all you have done in this election cycle! I know you are concerned over the slaughter bibi is perpetrating in Gaza. We all are. I am confident that Harris/Walz will cut arms delivery to Israel and warn them not to use American weaponry against the innocent people they are committing genocide on. Think of the alternative. :-0!
What boggles my mind is that non-voters make up the largest single block of the electorate and won't vote because they are disillusioned with the two major parties. But if they voted for a third party, they would win the election hands down and defeat the two parties that have betrayed them.
Great movie! Painful to watch. I do understand why people do not vote. However, I vote and still work for candidates. Never with the same passion I worked for Obama and ended up deeply disappointed. Definitely not with the same passion I worked for Bernie Sanders. But I have hopes for Kamala and Tim Walsh and Trump is the worst of the worst. You are a brilliant filmmaker.

200,000 + votes up in the air! Of course any sentient human cannot possibly look at what has happened in Gaza, Lebanon, and the left bank without feeling nauseous ! Of course we wish the Biden administration would act forcefully to end this atrocity.

I realize you want and need our country to end this nightmare, But…
Do you really think giving Trump the US presidency will help ? You must see that Trump is part of what has motivated and empowered Netanyahu to take such deplorable actions !
Thinking a Trump administration may be on the horizon is a factor. Netanyahu and Trump are two faces of the same evil. Giving Trump the power to « root out the enemy within « doesn’t help anyone here or in the Middle East.
Why are Palestinians living in Michigan ? My guess would be they wanted to escape the injustice of their country of origin. Why then would it help anyone to bring another mad man to power here?
Our only hope is that Kamala will help restore justice and equity for all of us everywhere. Maybe it won’t happen as soon as we like, maybe it won’t happen as forcefully as we want or as completely as needed but hopefully she will steer us towards the right path and help us to see a light at the end of this tunnel !

Thank you, MM, for your very encouraging segment on Ari Melber's show (I may watch it repeatedly until the Kamala Harris is declared the winner) and for your generosity in posting your movie for free. I can't actually bring myself to watch it. Heck, breathing almost seems to be a monumental task at this particular point in time. Forget the reminder - all I can think about is why we need to keep Trump out of the White House, and if I watch anymore about him, I feel like I may just freeze like a deer in the headlights. But I've been talking to everyone who will listen, especially my children's college age friends. We were fortunate to be able to attend the Harris rally here in Georgia recently, and we were talking to random people on the street afterwards. We also made sure to walk with our Harris/Walz sign very prominently on a busy road. (Several people honked.) My whole family has voted already. I'm generally seeing less Trump signage, so I'm hopeful that's a good sign. There does seem to be an energy buzzing about.
