Thank you, dear Michael! This is so powerful and I listened to your Rumble this morning and wept and nodded my head every time you said, "We know, don't we?" Thank you for telling the truth and encouraging us to do the same. Sending love to you this Memorial Day.
MM, have you read Spoon River Anthology, by Edgar Lee Masters? They're all free verse poems from a graveyard of dead folks from a small mid-western town circa late 1800s. The compelling thing is they're all the kinds and types of humanity that have existed since the dawn of ... us all. We humans are a bizarre admixture of good and bad and all the shades in between, seemingly from the start to right now. Seems to me nothing much has changed over this evolutionary run except the development of the technology to effectively obliterate most of our world in an afternoon. Progress?
just a random thought, Michael--I would like your opinion on it also-----What if President Biden on this day--used his massive power as president and signed an executive order mandating all non military gun manufacturing and ammunition's factories in the United States to produce only baby formula for the foreseeable future. What could the NRA or the Re-DUMB-licans do??? (its probably not possible--but it is a great idea.)
Thanks for this. I'm a big Bruce fan but haven't heard this. Brought warmth into my day - as someone whose dear friend will soon join the ranks of "We Am Alive"
I’ve read with interest about the African-origin tradition of “praying” to ancestors instead of deities. I think often about my own and seek their counsel with a titch of mysticism and a bunch of mining generic memory. And it comforts me to recall the connections across generations. Indeed. Could our dead talk….Thank you for a memorable post.
"After Silence, that which come nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music" Aldous Huxley -absolutely perfect song for this day of remembrance- thank you my friend

Thanks Michael perfect for this day, and thanks for your tireless efforts, a fellow flintite
I had never heard this gem. The opportunity to see and hear the words made such an impact on me at this time. Thanks, Michael!
They live in us!

Thanks for sharing! Its another viewpoint that I would not have seen for myself.
Pray for the dead & fight like hell for the living. Mother Jones.
This is one of my favorite songs. "We stand shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart".
Thank You.

I support you Michael because I believe in your messages but, at the same time I'm afraid for your health and safety. Be well.
