This is such good news especially for those north of the border. We had mistakenly thought you had gone mute in response to your country's unravelling by your first Dictator. We found some comfort in watching Sacha Baron Cohen's 'The Dictator' (2012) if only to reminded that the capacity of Americans to defy tyrants hadn't died.

Our country really doesn't want to become the 51st State and we do thank the President for amping up an otherwise docile country into speaking up and saying 'hands off!'

Keep protesting and let us know what we can do to strengthen you in the Great Resistance.

What can the Canadian people do? Keep up the boycotts, find new trading partners, and please do not be tempted to elect far right leaders. Keep the true north strong and free - and please pray for us.

Defeat the propaganda. Get your government thoughts on our newspaper, news stations (even the far right), get on every platform and fight the insane narrative Trump is creating. He is saying you would welcome being the 51st state. Get the government out there and maybe counter with you would like some of our states to be a new province. He hate New England so start there. 😊

I just want to say that I read that some asshole in Congress wants to make June 14 "Trump Day," which is ass-kissing at its worst. Trump's ass? Really. Bluck.

Anyway, to anyone who grew up around Boston, Massachusetts, June 14 was Flag Day/Bunker Hill Day. We had parades.

The Nether Pig also has goose-stepped onto stage at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, perhaps so Elonicus Prime can give an Artsy Salute.

We the People have elected people whose job is to prevent the very things that

the GOP's Führer Felonald J. Truskolini is doing.

Hey Republicans. Are you Nazis, or are you Americans. Show me an Artsy salute now if you aren't going to do your job. Show us who you are, then smile, take a bow, and kiss Der Führer's ass for all to see.

Eisenhower would be so proud.

Please come to Boston in the Springtime. Bring a Flag, not a gun.

Bunker Hill: The 250th Anniversary of America's Birth. Don't bring Elon.

Nothing is going to change until the American people wake-up and realize that both parties have sold them out. Go to my Substack for a free digital copy of my book: The Illusion of Justice. It proves the leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties have been conspiring together to subvert the rule of law--conspiring to commit treason.

All you have to do is read the short introduction letter to know something up. And, seriously, when someone claims they have documented proof of treasonous conspiracy to subvert the rule of law--why wouldn't you take a look at what they have to say?

Of course we already know this but it's critically important to act now against Trump, Musk, Republicans etc to stop the madness before it's too late to reinstate critical agencies and go after others, e.g. Medicare, Social Security, etc... then we can work on getting money out of politics.

Thanks for sharing! I was at the Union Square protest with my sister and my 23-year-old. It was an amazing, joy-filled and hopeful day. What most impressed me were the significant number of senior citizens in the crowd. While these folks shouldn't have had to be there, I was so humbled by their presence.

We'll always be there as long as there is still breath in our bodies. I am 80 this year and started protest marching during school bussing and the Viet Nam war years. Feels like I was born holding a protest sign--why give up now? Wish I'd saved all those signs I made....pic of me to the left holding one in front of the White House at a "NOXL" demonstration a few years ago....

Those of us from the "60" have walked the protest line many times to demonstrate our disapproval of the government's actions. I would gladly be there "if I could". It was so enlightening to see and hear the voices of the people Rising Up against tyranny!

If you cannot make it to a demonstration, get on the phone, get on the e-mail and tell someone in DC what you think. It only takes a few minutes and it doesn't cost any money. We don't need money in politics. We just need people to participate. www.nationalfinancialplan.com

I depend upon Social Security (month to month) as a major part of my income, plus Deferred Comp and pension, and Medicare. I’m afraid I’ll lose it all because of Musk firing administrators and cutting funds in those fields. I could be left with nothing, homeless and starving. If I lose one of those things I’m lost, and I may lose them all any minute now. Musk is digging in, cutting funds and firing thousands of people he sees as waste so that this world’s-richest-man can get richer. He calls it a mandate from the people; he’s actually said that. What mandate?! He’s unelected!

And what about immigrants being treated like criminals just because our immigration laws are draconian—very hard to become legal, and they’re being shackled, handcuffed and put on planes to be deported, humiliated, demeaned? Horrible! And Trump/Musk are trying to do away with birthright citizenship!

I’m in no shape to march, but I’m grateful to all those who did.

I’ll tell you—Trump won’t last 4 years. He may be gone in just weeks from now because with Musk he’s destroying the basic functions of government. It’ll all fall apart. Some people may come to drag them both out.

Monday was a great day. I got a little emotional as I watched the crowd in front of our State Capitol grow and grow…a fleet of inspiring and snarky signs, chants breaking out every few minutes, a peaceful if slightly raucous crowd of Americans. If we can keep momentum going, the midterms may be an anti-Trumpist blowout.

Yes! Thank you Michael Moore for reporting this and framing it in context. And what's not easily reportable are the myriad of small actions, meetings, and plan making in schools, unions, and communities to resist fascism. I hope all of this will eventually lead to a powerful movement to overthrow capitalism (and its phony democracy) once and for all.

David, you don't really want to do away with capitalism entirely. You want to pass laws to rein it in from its excesses like the top 1% who owns 50 percent of the wealth. Back it up to where it was in the postwar years before the greed of Reganomics got started. Capatilism itself is not necessarily a bad thing. It results in innovation, competition and abundance of products for consumers. Where it has been allowed to go wrong is in exhorbitant salaries for CEO's, sports stars, celebs, and lack of a fair taxation structure. Greed by those in control has kept the minimum wage to $7.00/hr for years. This is an unconsionable situation which cannot stand.

Sadly - this got almost no coverage in any form of media - mainstream or independent. No one noticed, except maybe you.

Michael-it isn't enough. There is NO leadership - people are scared and hunkered down to hide from the Gatling gun approach of the FFOTUS crime family to destruction of our democracy. We are hiding under our desks - we feel totally helpless- protesting will do absolutely nothing.

Meanwhile - the Democrats are clutching their pearls and talking about "hypocrisy" and "shame" to a group of Nazi/Russian assets formerly called the Republican party - that has no shame because they have no conscience, no morals, no ethics, no principles, and are greedy, power-hungry criminals. Short of Civil War- which also wouldn't work because- again - we lack ANY real leaders - Democrats in office need to be stepping up - they aren't.

According to Bernie, Democrats are planning to schedule town halls across the country especially in red states to get people hiding out better informed about what’s really going on so we can vote these smash-and-grab criminals out of office. See The Guardian. Opinion, Feb 19. Hopefully, someone will collect, organize the list of Actions to take place asap so we can all participate to fight for our democracy. (BTW some Republicans think Musk is “re-constructing” our govt into some hi-tech miracle machine working far better than before… but Musk and his flying oz monkeys do not know how mainframes work nor our govt - so far, a ginormous mess).
