Just heard your excellent podcast with Sean Penn, and was glad to hear you clarify that "packing" of the Supreme Court is not a desirable goal (hence the overuse of that negatively loaded term by opponents). Far more desirable are the "expansion" and the "rebalancing" of the Supreme Court with competent jurists, at least a few whom pattern themselves after the Notorious R.G.B. and others whose perspective now is sorely outnumbered in that inflated collection of rigid Federalist Society pawns and others from whom they were cloned.
Legislation should be pursued which limits the terms of the justices. And the goal should be reaching a reasonably expanded and more evenly balanced court which more accurately reflects the higher values of the true majority of our citizens -- and which can help us to preserve and expand the egalitarian and humanistic values and ideals towards which we all should be working to achieve...
Michael, Will Fahrenheit 911 be recorded? I live in Hawaii and am still at work at 3:00 pm HST, but I would really love to watch the movie and your commentary!
Hi Michael. How do you come to terms with Biden saying paraphrased: "I don't care about Afgans. Nixon and Kissinger didn't care in Vietnam. They got away with it, so can I. I am glad Biden cares about Americans....But to me if you don't care about people....That's unamerican.
