Republicans Unanimously Anoint January 6th Coup Leader Who Sought to Overturn the 2020 Election Results as Our New Speaker of the House
Right wing Congressman from Louisiana, Mike Johnson, helped lead the 2021 coup attempt by 147 Republicans to stop Joe Biden from taking his legal oath of office for the position he won — President of the United States. Today, all those Republican traitors who are still serving were joined by every single House Republican present to name coup leader Johnson as the new Speaker of the House.
Not one Republican opposed him. We now have a Speaker of the House, 3rd in line to the Presidency, who believes that Joe Biden is not the President and refuses to accept him as the Commander in Chief. Trump and his loyal followers continue to place us in danger. This must be strongly resisted by everyone who loves this country. The Republican Party is no longer a political party. It is a cult, hell-bent on turning the U.S. into an autocracy fueled by the conceits of white supremacy and male Christian dominance over the reproductive rights of women. Is this the country you want to live in, one where any of these individuals can buy as many assault weapons as they want? The vast, vast majority of us have already made it clear: NO!
As every Republican unanimously went on the record today to vote for and pledge their loyalty to an election denier and electoral coup leader, they have left the rest of the country now with no choice: All Republicans must be removed from Congress next year. There are no “good” Republicans. They proved that today by their vote that they do not believe in the Constitution of the United States of America. None must remain in the Senate or House in 2024 if you believe in Democracy.
One more sad but brutally honest day for America. The Republicans are not with us, the people. They are with the 4-times arrested crime boss, indicted on 91 felony counts, along with his 18 co-conspirators charged with multiple crimes of racketeering and attempting to steal voting machines and overturning a legally verified election in what the Department of Homeland Security has called “the safest, most secure and most accurate election in the history of the United States of America” — and the only time a sitting President has committed numerous felonies to rig said election results in order to hold onto his seat in an office the American people clearly and forcefully voted to remove him from — by over 7 million votes!
Our job is to end this madness.
P.S. As I send this out, dozens have been shot or injured, with numerous dead, at two locations in Lewiston, Maine, at a restaurant and a separate bowling alley that was holding a youth night. The killer, allegedly a trained firearms instructor and Army Reservist, and currently carrying his AR-15 assault weapon, is still at large…

Hakeem Jeffries next Speaker of the House! There are more of us than them, vote them out! They are traitors and cowards, they are afraid of us. Stay together people, our time is near!
This vote in the house should be our warning that we are losing our country. It's time we decide a plan of action or sit back and see Democracy die. Sometime you just have to reboot and start over. If Trump gets elected in 2024 we may lose everything. We got 1 year to figure out something. It's hard to win when your opponent don't play by the rules.
