It is a struggling democracy as voters don’t pay enough attention to who they are electing. We must engage with politicians on one main issue, will you vote to reform campaign financing. I’m in Australia, we have Medicare, (mostly free but really good health care), a national minimum wage of $25 per hour, time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays! It seems to me, listening to you today, the Unions may be able to do more than any political party to bring both health care and a living wage to the citizens and residents of the USA!
