I forwarded this to my cousin in AZ who keeps telling me that all politicians are the same. I pointed out to her that this list shows that not to be true, and that the Democrats did all these things without the republicans. I’m on her case to vote but she is so resistant. She has three daughters and now two granddaughters so I keep telling her she MUST vote Democrat.
I just cancelled my subscription to the NYT, and subscribed here instead. When the customer service person asked me why I'm cancelling, I said, "Because you are now a right wing publication with no journalistic integrity." When he asked, "Is there anything we can do to keep you as a subscriber, I said, "Fire your senior masthead team." I am smiling as I write this.
I think it's too bad that the mainstream media has been errant and continuing to call them Republicans. They should have been calling them the American fascist party because that is what they are and that is what they have been now for many years. They are no longer the party of Lincoln. They no longer have even a remote resemblance to what the Republican party used to be when sanity reigned.
If there is any sign that people can and will unite against Fascism, Oligarchy and Authoritarian rule it is in the victory of Lula in Brazil. Of course we have not at this point heard about a “Stolen Election” from Bolsanaro, but the fact that Lula clearly won in an open and free election is a really good sign (I hope).
Here's something we CAN do - from now until Election Day - energetically send "protection" around all poll workers, and all people casting their votes. The Will of Democracy is far greater than those who intimidate.
WE know it’s the truth but many fellow Americans have a long standing habit of consistently voting against their own self interests. They are more afraid of the boogeyman-evil people at the border, the govt is coming for our guns, our children are being groomed by drag queens. Paranoia or stupidity? They appear to chose continue to pay thousands of $ for monthly medications over common sense voting. Hershel Walker is a Godly man” (Newt Gingrich) but REVEREND Warnock isn’t? Logic isn’t logic. That is why I fear for The American Experiment. History has shown us that it is not uncommon for periods of govt to last no more than 200-400 years before they fall. We are right there.
My son and I messed up our kitchen a bit in our attempts to recreate the scene, my son armed with a rubber spatula and me with trying to rationalize until cops tackle type thing...haha I know we're nuts but I have to say throwing crap is very good but takes mobility to maneuver so alternatively laying on back (BJJ people call pulling guard) to kick bad guy knees and keep head away until help can grab. In our various goofy senecios my 29 year old athletic son did spatula me in the head some but by far the worst was when I couldn't use the bottoms of my feet to kick knees and head (or "up kick") (simulating of course, be careful). Either way, must be horrible for anyone but we learn by keeping playful and advocate training something like jiu jitsu at any age, seriously my dad started at +80 and I got him kicking knees and chins if found there, and another champion of never too late to play to learn.
Glad you will be on those MSNBC programs. Would love it if you would hold up the Tsunami #32 visual on as many programs as you can. It tells the whole story in one graphic. It's strong and says clearly what you will get if you vote Republican. I'm thinking of the Independents of which there are many who may still be on the fence.
