Michael, I want you to know personally from me to you how deeply grateful I am for your daily posts. You have so many good, decent folks, not just Democrats, but people with values and integrity being positively influenced by your endless commitment to rid this nation of the horrors of fascism. We know it will never be gone, it’ll go back to the darkness. It needs to be locked tightly and jealously away from our precious freedoms.
Voting. Voting against this contemptible rise not only here in the USA, but in other countries where looming fascism has been called out and weakened by voters.
Voters, we can all be voters! It’s a Constitutional right to all Americans!
We will toe the line! We will hold to the guarantee of Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness to all Americans, natural born and immigrant, have the freedom to shape our own futures as a single person and as a nation. Safe, free and fair elections help make this dream of All Men Are Created Equal, closer to reality.

I have passed it along to many friends and fellow activists here in the NYS Capital District. They love this just as much as I do. I have developed an immeasurable level of optimism as a result. Living in one of the poorest/ poverty counties in Iowa, it baffles me how many are still supporters of the ex president. If you ask them WHY they still support MAGA messages, they say because the ex did so much for our country. If you ask them HOW, they pause and regurgitate what they hear on Fox and QAnon sites they read. I have a friend from childhood that went from a Bernie Bro to this cult. We are still speaking and the threat to Social Security may be the crack in the ice! We are both retired. I just consistently talk about the issues in a non threatening way. Don’t give up on some of these people!! Yesterday she agreed with me the Grassley needs to be “put out to pasture” on one of his numerous farms that he has reaped money from “socialist” programs. Their word not mine! Ready for the BLUE TSUNAMI!

3nov22, just listening to this morning"s Daily Beans podcast. twitter automatically unsubscribed thousands of subscribers to left leaning sites while at the same time subscribers to right leaning sites increased. this morning Robert Reich said to stick with twitter, he explained why. IDK what to do. Point 2, not well formulated idea i am afraid but what if we started telling the maga zombies that all those right wing ideas which seem to be dictate from one source, where they ALL fall in line with the same message immediately.. where does that originate from? the federalist society? what is the dark money source. THEN, what if instead of blaming trump, we blame the source, which is NOT a "charismatic" individual but a big ugly corporation, would that give the maga zombies pause? Love you! Marie
It is not a generational problem that we face. There are “good” and “bad” spread throughout each generation. Bill Maher and others like him need to brush up on metaphysic’s and stop making egotistical sweeping generalizations.
I live in San Diego, an hour south of Hollywood. I rarely watch movies, do not recognize celebrities, do not have any interest in who they are married to and the thought of approaching someone for an autograph or selfie seems like a violation of their personal space-just rude.
I say all this to say, Michael is in a lot of THOSE circles, considered a celebrity.
In my world, Michael is a hero. I don’t think I would interrupt his lunch to say Thank You, but there are no words to express my appreciation for his ability to use his talents for good, not evil. Thank you Michael. If I ever see you at lunch in LA that will be me, just smiling and nodding as I walk by.
Michael, another uplifting message today. It should be required reading for all, particularly the Democrat politicians and their consultants. It's great that you're making appearances on those MSNBC programs, to further spread the message.
Thanks Michael - Love the Guardian article! This is it, the final turn. We are all exhausted from the last few months of non-stop campaign news. My two 20-somethings are voting Dem. Proud of that. I'm counting on the women to vote strong to repudiate the Magat agenda of hate and divisiveness. Will be glued to the TV next Tuesday. Vote strong Dems! We can save our Democracy. Thank you again Michael for your positive vibes and efforts - we need you!
My 28 year old daughter went to vote. She had moved recently and registered several months ago. They said they did not have a record and sent her to another location to fill out more paperwork to fix the problem. What happens when we get people to register, get them to vote and then I feel like there are barriers put up. It smells like voter suppression. How can we counter this?
Michael, you are a man who listens, sees the bigger picture, has a voice that commands some attention where it matters. You have created a space for others to practice using their voices to make the difficult changes our Society and the World needs to be safe and sustainable for all Life. Please continue this for many of us are taking back our power to be a beneficial presence on this planet.
