Again yesterday and this morning except for a writer from the LA times, the media is bashing democrat’s chances to beat history and retain or grow our majorities. The writer from the LA times is agreeing with us, that we are the majority, that the pollsters are wrong once again, polling is broken, does not work. The country has grown to be a very different country which pollsters do not understand. We have to keep enthusiasm up, we have to move forward and leave those comments behind. Let’s get past them and show them how wrong they are so they learn some lessons here. Women of this country will be roaring! Let’s save democracy first, we will iron out the details of how to work on the issues later. Without democracy there is no way to fix anything, if we allow them to win by letting them discourage us, our democracy will be gone. VOTE!

Regarding the anti-suffrage position, I wonder what would happen to our political system if for 4 years, like as a form of restitution, men were not allowed to vote ….

I feel badly responding almost each day to your amazing writings Mike. This one spoke to me again.

I worked in management in private industry before changing careers, which was the best move I ever made. I later became a classroom teacher and then an elementary school principal. In all my experience working, women drove the organizations I worked for. I mean no offense, we worked the hardest, and I have and have witnessed other women propping up men who held much higher positions. Had if not been for our work and critically needed insight, things would have probably fallen apart.

Some of the current candidates are making the Handmaid’s Tale feel a little too real……

Okay, Mike. Thanks for your list of wackadoodles. Yes, they’re amazing. The guy who says men are smarter than women, and if only women couldn’t vote . . . The Republican Party has Liz Cheney, and then it has these people. Well, I can’t agree with Liz Cheney on anything but Trump, and on him she’s very good.

Good list Michael. I'm curious to hear your thoughts about the Fetterman / Oz debate last night. I didn't get to watch it yet, but I read that Fetterman had processing problems due to his stroke recovery. Do you think doing the debate helps / hurts / or doesn't impact Fetterman's chances of victory. I read he got $1million dollars in donations after the debate as signs of support, but from whom? People who vote in PA or donors from elsewhere? thanks.

Michael…….does Gibbs ever pass by a mirror? He’s BLACK! And if the Trumplicans had their way, all blacks would be in the fields picking cotton or if they were uppity hanging from a convenient tree.

Does this MF get all the hatred lavished on people of color by the GOP.

The word Republican is unique…….. because it has 3 silent Ks in it’s spelling.

ROEVEMBER is coming…….and the women and young people are PISSED!

It’s hard to fathom how many conspiracy-loving, hate-filled, liars have gotten this far in the election process, until we accept that they are each supported by a majority of their local party members. This cancer runs deep. Defeating them soundly in November is only the first step. Afterward, I’d suggest we set aside some land for them to relocate. I’m thinking Saudi Arabia.

OK Michael, I'm trying to stay positive but after reading your list I just want to cry.

I will not listen to the pollsters any longer! They have been so wrong in the past! It is all about money that they will earn for their opinion on the station they work for!

Just believe in your own intuition! We are going to kick ass on Election Day!

The liar’s will lose! The truth will win!We must save our democracy from the lunatics!

Just my opinion

Excellent writing Mike! The party of Lincoln that fought to end slavery now fights to deny the rights of minority citizens in an attempt to insure that white people will maintain control of the country when they are no longer the majority. They profess to be Christian, yet do not treat others the way they would like to be treated. They favor laws that make it easy for thousands of people to be killed by guns every year. Jesus would never carry or use a gun; "Those who live by the sword die by it", He said. Jesus was always on the side of the sick, hungry, homeless, those in jail and those who were poor. He said that whenever you help the least of your brethren, you are doing it for Him. Jesus would be helping the children at the border, not sending them back to Mexico to suffer more and maybe die.It is time to call out those who mock the words and life of Jesus with their lies and hypocrisy.

Being a Christian means creating heaven on Earth. We are all witnessing the massive changes taking place on Earth. We are in the midst of a never ending storm. The ultimate quest is not happiness; it is to find ways to serve, (happiness is a by-product of service) The system of greed called capitalism is not voluntary; survival depends on your ability to feed it. We need systems of living that help ALL of the citizens of Earth develop to their fullest potential. Instead, we spend most of our time and energy in useless activity feeding the money machine!

My concern is. Will the Democratic Party come to terms with the excessive focus on ethnicity and sex politics? I would never vote for religious fanatics fascistic racist misogiinist. I have volunteer time, donated money ,and voted for Democrats all my life. I am terribly concern about the condescending attitude to place tokens instead of intelligence ability integrity and above all Western EDUCATION as candidates representing our values. I'm. not talking about high-school and college but reading and recognizing the European scientific Illumination by which the natives benefit from and developed into progressive nations. I firmly don't believe that people should live in reservation limited to obsolete traditions . I don't agree that when after a WOMAN IS MURDER FOR SHOWING HER HAIR. Women still cover their hairs , showing sings of respect for the criminal proponents of religious backwards societies abusing women above all.I don't accept in my Supreme Court a woman that doesn't recognize our heterosexual feminine genre as a self evident truth of Process and Reality , A.N. Whitehead. I find it hypocritical not recognizing ANOMALY to be politically correct yet caught on the real talk by spies who seek the oficial seat. I lost all my trust. In politics as usual.

Realizing the extremists that walk among us as well as the brainwashed, is such a challenge. Yesterday I watched Ted Cruz on The View. Something told me I shouldn’t watch it though I watch The View daily. I should have listened to that little something that was speaking to me. I was so upset after watching it. I could feel it in every part of my body. I knew that I had to let it go. I knew that it wasn’t good for me to be that upset. After a few minutes I scrolled through Facebook and Jim Palmer posted a piece about the Buddha. In a nutshell the Buddha said that our the cause of our suffering is ourselves. How we react to our lives and the things we see and the things we hear. Detachment is the key. I was so grateful for this message that I believe was sent from the universe to help me to let go of my reaction to this horrible man and what he did on The View. I posted on The View’s Facebook saying that they should not have given him a platform. I know that they want to have integrity and have all voices on the show and give them an opportunity to be heard and give the women an opportunity to have debate. However those like Ted Cruz, Kari Lake, Trump, Kellyanne Conway, use a strategy that should not be given a platform. They talk over you. They repeat the same rhetoric over and over and over. And they are good at it. There are many that are criticizing Katie Hobbs for not attending a debate with Kari Lake. Her reasoning was that she did not want to give Kari Lake a platform. I completely agree with her reasoning.
