As long as you're at it, add Universal Basic Income. If you look for the single most changeful, positive thing that could happen, it would be food, shelter, education, and health care for everyone. What a game-changer that would be, bringing so many out of survival so they even can think about a cooperative world. And it would be a big move into the world we need to be in, where we care about each other as much as we care about ourselves

Also, Mr. President, get rid of the Reagan era "Windfall Provision" which has significantly reduced the social security pensions of teacher, firefighters, police and others. Any other groups of people can have as many pensions as they want without losing EARNED benefits, but our social security is reduced. In the U.S., there are 2.3 million people behind bars—by far the highest incarceration rate of any comparable nation. We have less than 5 percent of the world’s population but nearly 25 percent of its prisoners.

The Republican controlled legislature in Wisconsin are nothing but a bunch of cowards. They won't allow a referendum to take place to allow a non-binding vote for medical marijuana. 41 states are now allowing for marijuana in some form and Wisconsin is not among them. This week they decided that a referendum won't happen on abortion, even though our Republican senator Ron Johnson has given his support for it. November 8th, don't bet on any changes. Shame, shame!!!

It's not about votes… Or winning the next election...Isn't the end result more important than another four years in the seat? Thank you for setting us on the right path forward.

Playing small ball gets us the win
