Where do I sign? I support you Michael! Although I’m over here in California, I’ve heard Canada is interested in annexing Washington, Oregon and California - I’m ready! GO MichiCan!

Michael Moore has been to my Substack. He knows that I have documented proof that the leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties have been conspiring together to subvert the rule of law--conspiring together to commit treason.

But, instead of bringing documented proof of treason to the attention of his followers, he is wasting your time by blabbering about mindless crap. It appears that he really doesn't want to stop the corruption--just make money whining about it.

Paid subscriber to who? My Substack is free. You can also get a free digital copy of my book: The Illusion of Justice. It proves the entire federal judicial system is corrupt and both parties have sold you out. If you a government that acts in your best interests, you need to read my book and tell everyone you know about the jaw-dropping corruption.

Maybe you could suggest the same arrangement for my State of Maine??? Most of our land border is with Canada!

And Washington and even Oregon. k.d. lang said that Portland, Oregon was more like a Canadian town than any she'd ever lived in outside of Canada. And in case anyone reading this doesn't know who she is, she's a Canadian singer who should be on Michael's list of Canadian musicians along with Joni and the others. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcOQSk_cMO0

If we are going for great Canadian singers left off the list, that ought to be expanded to include Gordon Lightfoot, RIP, and Ben Hepner.

Ah, yes. And Leonard Cohen, and Glen Gould, and the list goes on, there are so many. Perhaps that's why Michael said "and many others", it would've been a ridiculously long list of talented people!

And it would be tragically unhip if we failed to mention the late great Canadian 🇨🇦 singer, Gord Downie, of The Tragically Hip. 😢

Yes, I think there are a lot of Americans who don't know him much at all. He was so humble. And the work he did for the Indigenous people was so important and so moving. He included everyone. Such a kind and talented human being.

Your comment is spot on! When I think of Gord I think of the saying, "Only the good die young." (And I'm not referring to the Billy Joel song.)

Yay!! We have to avoid the Poilievre fate, and Carney is amply equipped. Still, we can't take this lightly or assume—because of the red pill headwinds that have our own Donnie/Elon worshipping freak holding the polls we have to band together and get everyone out to vote for the good-humoured, kind, and tough negotiator who will not just crush DJT but allow Canada to thrive. He's truly someone to vote for with the bonus of fighting the insane right-wing factions.

Totally agree - if Poilievre gets in, we will be in big trouble - he worships the ground that Trump walks on (he even uses the exact same words and ideologies), loves Musk ..... well, it would be truly tragic. I am already hearing from people around me that Carney destroyed the UK and is being backed by Trump - these are intelligent people parroting the same nonsense that the MAGAots spew all the time. I hope and pray we do not follow the US down that same dark hole.

Mike, While you are meeting with Prime Minister Carney, ask him if Canada would be interested in a few USA states, like the Blue States. The way things are happening in the USA right now, Blue State secession might be a real possibility soon. Also, Cadbury chocolate is better in Great Britain than the USA.

k.d. lang's rendition of Alleluia that she sang at the 2010 Winter Olympics was one of the most beautiful versions of that song that I have ever heard.

Mon cher Michael, I did not know I could love you even more than I already do until you mentioned THE NORDIQUES!!!! They should never have left. Although I don’t know if my marriage to a guy from Montreal would have survived :) We are here in California contemplating moving back to Quebec after over 30 years in the US…

All in favor here. Just one suggested addition. Let’s add in my state of MInnesota - as we share that Canadian border and honestly have more in common with them than with the United States. Certainly THIS United States. Maybe Michi-Can-Sota ?? Cana-Sota-Gan ? 😉 We three all share so much. Not the least of which is ice fishing on our shared Great Lakes as frequent vacation activity! That light rail - already a big hit in the twin cities (an afternoon Twins Game anyone?) could easily make stops in Duluth, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Rochester (we can bring the Mayo Clinic expertise together with Canadian Universal Health Care and there’s no end to our medical advancements)!! And as for the Arts … I’ll take Joni Mitchell and Motown and see you Bob Dylan and Prince. Come on now friends …. Let’s make this thing a trifecta!!! ☮️❤️❄️

Maybe you could, also, find out what Canada's current war plans are for repelling the United States should we try -- for the third time -- to invade them. While Canada did get some help from the British during the invasions that took place during the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, I'm sure that they've developed some new military tricks since those good old. days.

There are many states here that would love to become Canada's "cherished 11th province." Unfortunately, it would be like the partition of India at independence, with masses of MAGAs streaming south, and sane people north . . .

As for Musk, he seems to be determined to outdo another rapacious character, Genghis Khan, in spreading his seed in the gene pool.

DC is going to be reclaimed by the rising ocean. Let MAGA have it. It’ll literally be a swamp inhabited by the mediocre. The blue states have the ability to do better. The Great Partition of North America is already underway with the reasonable, honorable, and talented leaving the Red States for the Blue, Canada, and the EU. Let 2026 be the year. 250 years of trying to live with slavers and their willfully ignorant heirs are enough.
