He's a New Yorker, so when he thinks Catholic, he thinks Italian. I grew upas one of those, and I remember the nasty Italian jokes that were common. Times have changed, America has evolved a bit, but Fuhrer Trumpleschtupkopf has not.

He hangs out with some right-wing religious cults that keep pushing him as God's Choice. Those cults hate Catholics, so he throws them bones regularly.

There was some Seven Mountains nonsense I read about recently. Seven heads of seven government agencies they want to seize control of.

Oyyy... reminds me of a Seven-Headed Beast I read about somewhere.

Whatever could they be up to? Hmmm...

Catholic, I grew up as one, but I am no longer practicing. I feel more comfortable trying to walk the walk as Jesus taught us.

Thomas Paine On Religions Keeping Mankind Ignorant Of The Creator

As Governments Keep Man Ignorant Of His Rights

So let us briefly update and address the two central themes in Thomas Paine's precocious quote: "It has been the scheme of the Christian Church, and of all the other invented systems of religion, to hold man in ignorance of the Creator, as it is of governments to hold man in the ignorance of his rights. The systems of the one are as false as those of the other, and are calculated for mutual support."

So let's talk about the relation between religion and polytrix in the US government. We have a Supreme Court with six Catholics, steering religion and politics to the far right, away from the Creator. We'll comeback to the original conclusion after this read about the last act taken by the Supreme Court on the first of July. TruthBeTold's post from Jim Hightower's daily news letter on 7-2:

Today the US Supreme Court overturned the centuries long conviction of Pontius Pilate, absolving him of any responsibility for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

In a 6-3 decision along party lines, Chief Justice John Roberts found in error the long standing verdict of history that the Governor of Judea had acted out of personal motivation. Quite the contrary, Roberts wrote, it was strictly within Pilate’s official capacity that he ordered the crucifixion.

In support of his conclusion that Pilate was not acting out of personal motives, Roberts noted a heretofore unrecognized fact. Pilate actually admired Christ and had for a time considered making him court jester after being told of Christ’s whimsical parables. However, after Christ fed the multitude on three fishes and five loaves, Pilate sought to have him elevated to high priest, a plan denounced by Joseph ben Caiaphas, the incumbent. To mollify Caiaphas, but primarily to remove a threat to his regime, Pilate reluctantly ordered the crucifixion, an act well within the governor’s official duties. The first duty of every official, Roberts wrote, is to preserve and perpetuate his rule, be he governor, satrap or inspector of hides and brands.

In his concurring opinion, Justice Kavanaugh noted that crucifixion was not a death sentence, merely a punishment. Unfortunately, he wrote, some individuals perversely elected to die on the cross just to embarrass a government toward which they were ill disposed. Likewise in the case of time honored punishments such as keel-hauling and flogging there were the occasional fatalities, regrettable but hardly of consequence.

Justice Gorsuch noted in his concurrence that in olden times, measures which today are deemed cruel and unusual were in fact a necessity. Trial by water and trial by fire, he observed, were the only ways to get at the facts before the advent of the polygraph and Fox News.

Remarking the perspective she had gained occupying the Tomas de Torquemada Chair of Jurisprudence at Notre Dame, Justice Barrett stated with apodictic certainty that had prosecutors been deprived of the rack, the thumbscrew and the iron maiden, many great truths would have gone unrevealed.

Despite having been challenged to recuse himself when it was learned that Harlan Crow had given him Pilate’s solid gold death mask, Justice Thomas wrote a concurring opinion, the gist being: redemption. Romans, he observed, had long since become good Catholics and were thereby redeemed by Christ himself; they had hardly bothered anyone since their conversion, with the exception of Al Capone in Chicago, Lucky Luciano in New York, and Sam Alito in Washington, DC.

Justice Alito declared that no way could Pilate have gotten a fair trial, with the populace spreading the word that Christ was the only begotten son of God. The scriptures, Alito emphatically stated, say that we all are the children of God, and scriptures take precedence over man’s laws. “We here in this very court,” he continued, “we six justices are a testament to that divinity. If we don’t sitteth at the right hand of God, I don’t know who does.”

Justices Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson, knowing their six confreres better than anyone, dissented.

The first thing of importance is Robert's conclusion that Pilate (Trump) was not acting out of personal motives for any of his actions leading to 1-6-21. The second thing of importance is "the first duty of every official, Roberts wrote, is to preserve and perpetuate his rule," embracing the Big Lie that Trump won the electoral vote. Then we have Alito's blasphemous conclusion “We here in this very court,” he continued, “we six justices are a testament to that divinity. If we don’t sitteth at the right hand of God, I don’t know who does.” Jesus Christ Alone Sits At The Right Hand Of GOD!!!!

We have a new speaker of the House who openly wants to establish a 'moral' Christian Nationalism run by the next Republican president. Who will implement a fascist plan called Project 2025, as outlined at the end of Thom Hartmann's historical analysis of what led up to The Shocking GOP Plan to Dismantle the American Government. And all the while you've watched the Republican Party champion the idea of "freedom" while you have also watched the same party openly assault various freedoms, like the freedom to vote, freedom to choose, freedom to marry who you want, freedom for your children's teachers and librarians to have them read what they want, freedom to form unions and so on. If this has been a source of confusion, then your assessments of what Republicans mean by freedom were likely too generous. Here is what they mean: 1. The freedom to tell people what to do. 2. Freedom from being told what to do.

He TRYS to think Jewish, also. He has no center. He's barely a "person".

BTW: I think Italians are incredible. Yes, they did Mafia stuff because in Italy, to survive, you had to. One could only proper in Italy if one was stealing.

Giuliani was the 1st in his family to achieve so much education and then become Major of NYC. (!!) He got rid of a lot of the Mafia corruption in NYC and shined during the 9/11 attack. Then, because of his relationship with Trump, the contagion of Trump turned him Mafioso. Now, he's a bad Italian, reverting back. He has lost everything because of Trump, as so many have. .........trump is a cancer.

I am watching Italian films ( from the '60's and '70's.) on Criterion. The way Italians are and think, in the arts, is so creative and brilliant.

My theory about his shark phobia: sharks are predatory, merciless. Trump is also predatory and merciless and thinks he can dominate anyone anytime.

Trump "wins" by bullying, lying, flattering, tricking, bribing, gaslighting. You can't do any of those with a shark. It wins by tearing you onto pieces and eating you.

If Trump met up with a shark, the shark would win. The end.

Wikipedia: Word of Faith is rejected as unbiblical[2] and heretical[3] by almost all Christian scholars and theologians across nearly every denomination.[4][5][6][7] N. T. Wright, an Anglican bishop and theologian, referred to it as “myth” and a “pact with the Devil.”[8]

So, there you go. Probably aliened with Zionism and thinks genocide (murder) is OK.

Murdering one's enemies is OK by the Old testament and this is gospel for the Mizrahi Jews who are the majority now in Israel. Murdering every Palestinian is their right by God.

Interesting that Germany supports this, They murdered 6 million Jews, now they support the Jews murdering approx. 6 million Palestinians and they won't stop there, There is a centuries old Christian community in Israel they are going after them also.

OMG! Wisconsin Professor Sheeter,

You should save this and post it other places. Very clever.

I would say to start a substack but frankly, it sounds like too much work. A substack was stuck on me and now I have an annoying reminder to start posting....well, thank you, but, NO!

Dear Mr. Moore,

We already know that Donald Trump and the Republican party are demonstrably corrupt. But so are the Democrats. This is not my opinion, it's fact. If you really want to stop the corruption, you are going to have to show the American people concrete proof both major political parties have sold them out! My book does exactly that. (There is a link for a free digital copy in this post.)

My name is Ted Martin. I have finished writing a book about my first hand encounters with a morbidly corrupt federal judicial system. The book is titled: The Illusion of Justice and contains documented, incontrovertible proof of widespread systemic corruption in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Supreme Court, the Administrative Office of United States Courts, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Supreme Court not only ignored two of the most egregious cases of judicial misconduct imaginable (my cases) but also an amicus brief by former Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Richard Posner in which he blows the whistle on rampant corruption in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Judge Posner’s amicus brief is posted on the Supreme Court’s website at www.supremecourt.gov and can be accessed by typing in the following case number: Martin v. Living Essentials (Case No. 17-8352)

It will be painfully obvious to anyone who reads my book (or Judges Posner’s amicus brief) that the Supreme Court denies certiorari without even bothering to read the petitions submitted by the citizens of the United States. This obscene betrayal of the public trust is a clear-cut violation of every Justice’s judicial oath and a crime under federal law that is commonly referred to as honest services fraud.

In short, my book proves that the leaders of both the Republican and Democratic parties have been conspiring together to pack the courts with corrupt corporate judges who will never side with the American people. This was abundantly clear when Senator Chuck Schumer and the other Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee repeatedly refused to use irrefutable evidence of judicial misconduct by Amy Coney Barrett (a Republican nominee) at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

This bipartisan band of seditious conspirators also refused to address the underlying corruption in clear violation of their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

The only difference between the two major political parties is the rhetoric. The special interest groups running this country don’t give a damn which bribe taking stooge you vote for or even if you vote at all. They have already successfully rigged every election by controlling “our” choices.

The leaders of both the Republican and Democratic parties have been caught red-handed conspiring to pack the courts with corrupt judges who will never side with you. If there was ever a reason to be a one issue voter, this is it. Besides, any politician caught lying about their fidelity to the Constitution and laws of the United States is obviously lying about everything—particularly their agenda.

Republicans push the corrupt corporate agenda. Democrats pretend to be opposed. Together, they sell their offices to the highest bidders. They foment war for the military industrial complex, promote racism for the prison industrial complex, refuse to restrict access to assault weapons for the gun manufactures, permit large quantities of toxic cancer causing chemicals to be dumped into our air, land, and water for the chemical manufactures, deny needed medical care to our country’s citizens for the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries, and turn a willful blind eye to the catastrophic effects of global warming for the fossil fuel industries. The list of their greed fueled crimes against humanity goes on and on.

Voting your current elected representatives out of office should be a no brainer. But, to make sure that they are not replaced with another batch of equally corrupt corporate stooges, we’re also going to have to take back both the Republican and Democratic parties and get the money out of politics.

While this may appear to be a daunting task, all we really need is a sound plan. After giving this matter some careful consideration, I have the following proposal: We agree to put aside all of our ideological differences and unite as Americans in support of the Constitution of the United States.

If you read my book, it really won’t be that difficult. You will know who the real enemy is and it certainly isn’t your fellow citizens. We just need to become one issue voters. Ignore their contrived wedge issues, bullshit talking points, and cringe worthy campaign ads. If they are not fighting tooth and nail to get the money out of politics—don’t legitimize them with your vote.

Seriously, if in doubt—throw them out. Besides, any government official who is not forcefully calling for the resignations of the corrupt leaders of their own political party is, by definition, violating their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Whether Republican or Democrat, a treasonous corporate criminal is a treasonous corporate criminal, they serve the same master and nothing is going to change until we get the money out of politics.

*You get the money out of politics by publicly funding elections, banning all campaign contributions, and, in exchange for their broadcasting/operating licenses, requiring news organizations to give every candidate for public office an equal amount of free advertising space.

In the future, I may write a book titled: The Illusion of Journalism. But for now, I’m just going to say that the media is not going to help anyone blow the whistle on their partners in crime. In the past four years, I couldn’t find a single news organization that hadn’t sold us out.

All an honest journalist would have to do is read Judge Posner’s amicus brief to know that the courts are irretrievably corrupt. Reading my book will conclusively show that the courts are corrupt by design.

If you want a government that actually acts in your best interests, I urge you and everyone you know to read my book as soon as possible. You can get a digital copy of my book free of charge at the link below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_vaMH1riLodzOfQn0kI7ow0RDrPM0NqE/view?usp=sharing

P.S. I blame the Federalist Society for the corruption in the federal judicial system. The six so-called conservative justices on the Supreme Court, Mitch McConnell, and all the Republican Senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee are members of the Federalist Society. Donald Trump picked “his” judicial nominees from lists provided by the Federalist Society.

I didn’t know that the Democrats were in on it until I tried to give them proof of judicial misconduct by Amy Coney Barrett at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing. If you would like to read about their reprehensible conduct, you can skip ahead to the Postscript on page 221 of my book. But, by all means, read the rest of the book.

The corruption is undeniable. The judges in both of my cases incorporated the defendant’s fraudulent statements into their opinions even after I pointed the fraud in every brief that I filed. These “judges” are clearly taking dictation from corporate defense counsel without even reading the plaintiff’s briefs.

Exposing The Fascist Dementia Addled Supreme Narcissist As A Moron

A Comparison of President Biden's Mental Competency with Donald Trump's

Likewise here's the lead paragraph in

On Media Suppression Of Trump's Increasing Dementia

I first read the Daily Kos's lead article (2-26-24) titled The media will not report that Trump appears to have middle-stage dementia. A couple of days later Facebook suggested I look at a site dedicated to the politics and humor of Jon Stewart, which just 'happened' to have posted the original interview in Salon titled "Like someone pulled the metaphorical plug": Dr. John Gartner on Trump's "accelerating dementia". This whole interview was fixated on the dementia issue without mentioning that at least his father Fred had Alzheimer's/dementia, which I learned when I posted A Comparison of President Biden's Mental Competency to Donald Trump's to every response. After the idiot went into a long rant about choosing between being electrocuted by a battery on a sinking boat or eaten by a shark Robert Reich's newsletter (7-8-24, 8-8-24) posted Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?

The last sentence in both papers: Would you rather have a Fascist Dementia Addled Supreme Narcissistic Moron whose Father Also Had Dementia running this country or the Daughter of Two University Professors?

Did a mass mailing on 9-25 To the webmaster at the World Mental Health Coalition, Cc'd to all the progressive media (including your friend Chuck Collins at Inequality.org) and others. The WMHC had a press conference on 9-27 focusing on their president Dr. Bandy Lee's Prediction of Trump's Sociopathic Propensity to Make Violent Threats Against His Enemies outlined in her 2017 bestseller. Googled media reports of their Friday 9-27 conference and saw no new news about it. Which tells me that all Progressive Media Will Not Print The Above Sentence Because Of PREDICTABLE DEATH THREATS! Just look at the Threats to Bomb Schools and Hospitals in Springfield Ohio after Trump brought up Haitians Eating Pets during the Debate with Kamala no less.

Thank you, Michael. This talk from you brought back so many memories of being brought up Catholic in the 50’s in a Catholic school in an Irish Catholic neighborhood. When you started reciting the Mass in Latin, I was following along and it was nice to hear it again after so many years.

I can remember when I was seven that I had many sins to tell the priest in confession, since I was so compulsive I made sure I knew all the basic venial sins and told them all and then I was afraid I may not have told the right number of times I did or didn’t do whatever sin I was confessing, since we had to tell sins of commission and omission, and that would mean I lied to the priest which probably elevated my sin to a mortal sin. So I am now your basic garden variety neurotic, thanks to my early indoctrination.

Now, on to why the Catholic Church doesn’t protest when Trump does his putting down Catholics thing. I think because they think he is anti-abortion and that is all that matters. He certainly is not pro-life by any stretch of the imagination because the only life he values is his own. A friend of mine stopped going to Church because when Trump was running the first time, the priest, from the pulpit, told the congregation to vote for Trump because he was pro-life, and politics and who to vote for should never be discussed in a sermon by a priest. The Catholic Church isn’t pro-life, either, and though I know of many reasons why, suffice it to say, as the nuns used to say, my mother, RIP, came perilously close to dying with her sixth child and the Doctor told her if she had another baby, she would die, and since being Catholic and not being able to use birth control, my mother and father became like brother and sister, in which case, they couldn’t hug and kiss because that might cause arousal, which meant that they were putting themselves in the occasion of sin, which is probably a sin in itself. It sounds crazy as I write it and most people I talk to say that is not how it really was, but that is how it really was, take it from me, a recovering Catholic.

Yes, that is how it was.

I remember making up sins, while waiting in line for the dark confessional. It occurred to me later that I lied!

PREFACE: SIX PROOFS OF GOD

In early 2000, after corresponding with my late partner A.J. Meyer for 12 years he told me he came up with his model of the universe after praying to God for a solution and soon had a vision that it would come from Revelation 21. Whereby on 10-11-00 the Monolith Number answered the #1 question posed at the Strings 2000 physics conference. In late 2020 I discovered Revelation 21:6, the centerpiece of the last three of 4 Proofs Of GOD as the Theological Proof that we live in an Anti de Sitter cosmos, as shown in 2 space-time dimensions on the cover of my first 1981 book (pages 2 and 3 of Chapter 11's Biography of A.J. Meyer and Sean Sheeter).

This is a Preface to both the extended 17 chapters of The Unified 11 Dimensional Explanation Of Everything meant for physics libraries, physicists and others who want a deeper exploration of these paradigm shifting breakthroughs and the abbreviated 11 chapters of God's Unified 11 Dimensional Universe meant for physics/religion libraries and everybody in the general public with an interest in a Cosmological Unification Of Physics That Unites All Religions Under One God!!!!!!!!!!! The first two chapters are summarized in Proofs 2 and 3.

"It has been the scheme of the Christian Church, and of all the other invented systems of religion, to hold man in ignorance of the Creator, as it is of governments to hold man in the ignorance of his rights. The systems of the one are as false as those of the other, and are calculated for mutual support."  Thomas Paine

4 PROOFS OF GOD

1. HISTORICAL/LOGICAL: Google the proofs and writings of Saint Thomas Aquinas. He had at least 5 proofs for God. Here are two of them. The Second Way: Efficient Cause

1. Nothing is the efficient cause of itself.

2. If A is the efficient cause of B, then if A is absent, so is B.

3. Efficient causes are ordered from first cause, through intermediate cause(s), to ultimate effect.

4. By (2) and (3), if there is no first cause, there cannot be any ultimate effect.

5. But there are effects.

6. Therefore there must be a first cause for all of them: God.

The Third Way: Possibility and Necessity

1. "We find in nature things that are possible to be and not to be:" contingent beings.

2. Everything is either necessary or contingent.

3. Assume that everything is contingent.

4. "It is impossible for [contingent beings] always to exist, for that which can not-be at some time is not."

5. Therefore, by (3) and (4), at one time there was nothing.

6. "That which does not exist begins to exist only through something already existing."

7. Therefore, by (5) and (6), there is nothing now.

8. But there is something now!

9. Therefore (3) is false.

10. Therefore, by (2), there is a necessary being: God.

2. COSMOLOGICAL/DEFINITIONAL/PROPHETIC: Quantum Entanglement employs a Non-Local Instantaneous Quantum Mechanical Connection Across SPACE in a 5-Dimensional Anti de Sitter Space-Time.

The Anti de Sitter cosmos has a 3-Dimensional Euclidean Space which is Carried through the 4th Dimension of Time by a Primordial Gravitational Wave that was originally Emitted in the Big Bang. At the Big Bang the Totality of Space was a Cosmological White Hole with an Inflation Termination Radius of 7.18 meters whose Exterior Spatial Horizon proceeds to Expand outward at Light Speed before becoming the Interior Spatial Horizon of a Cosmological Black Hole with a Radius of 44.044 Billion Light Years. Which thereafter begins Contracting, finally Ending Time in the Big Gravitational Crunch after the Full AdS Cycle of 88.088 Billion Light Years.

The 5th Dimension of the Anti de Sitter Cosmology consists of a Non-Local Time-Symmetric Quantum Mechanical Connection between Future and Past that can only be Humanly Witnessed via Precognition and Prophesy. The difference between Theoretical Speculation and Reality is the very DEFINITION OF GOD as the NONLOCAL FIVE DIMENSIONAL TOTALITY of an ANTI DE SITTER SPACE-TIME whose CYCLE ENDS after 88.088 Billion Light Years, thus FULFILLING Revelation 21:6: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.”

3. GEOMETRICAL/MATHEMATICAL MAPPING Of CREATION/INFLATION: Here's the Answer to Albert Einstein's question "Did God have a choice in creating the universe" in terms of Fulfilling Revelation 21:6 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end:" Omega and Alpha Meet in one Timeless 11 Dimensional Point called the Motz/Planck Primaton, whose Mass is Derived by multiplying the Combined Proton and Electron Mass by 2 to the 63.5 power. God's Alpha Act of Creation is a Quantum Gravitational Jump to the Effective Planck Mass, whose mass is derived by multiplying Mp+e by 2 to 63.5-1/241. This Initiates Inflation by Doubly-Looped String Unravelings whose First Stage Creates 18 Superposed 6D Strings and Planck Masses from the One initial Planck mass, as represented in the three Figures of Diagram I in The Sixth Class of String Theory. The String Unravelings Cease when space has Inflated to the Heavy Higgs Scale, which is defined by dividing the Monolith Number 203+1/241 = Nu by 4, whereby the Universal Mass is Restored as Calculated by multiplying the Planck mass by 2^Nu. [There's a Second de Sitter Inflationary Era which Ends when the 4D Space is Reduced to a 3D Space at Nu/3, whereby the Spin 6 Planck masses break into 4 Primordial Spin 3/2 Gravitinos in a Third Anti de Sitter Inflationary Era that Terminates at the Big Bang's White Hole Radius of 7Nu/12 = 7.18 meters, which continues to Expand with the Emission of a 4D Primordial Gravitational Wave that was Generated by 2^5Nu/4 = 2.442996015 x 10^76 Heavy Higgs bosons.]

4. GOD'S PROOF Of GOD Via GOD'S PROOF Of WHO I AM: Yesterday 7-27-23 produced the following most amazing, incredible event of my life! I was posting replies to a fellow's query on Neil deGrasse Tyson's Facebook page about the Big Bang with The Sixth Class of String Theory. I then got to the following post:

Travis Boothe 4: The 11-21-22 date I posted this on my Facebook homepage is the Culmination of Three Revelations that define my Destiny in life and as such are the ultimate example of God's Cosmically Coordinated Coincidence Control that was Meant to be Fulfilled on that day. My late partner A.J. Meyer and I are the Two "Witnesses" of Revelation 11. A.J.'s model of the universe came from his vision of Revelation 21, while God's Definition of God in Revelation 21:6 refers to the Beginning and End of the Anti de Sitter Universe so Fulfills that Revelation in the 21st Century. And finally my Prophesy of Jesus revealing Himself as Christ the Messiah on His 12-25-2122 22nd birthday, hence Fulfilling the last book of the Bible, Revelation 22.

5: It took me 11 days to collate, write and edit the final above copy, only adding the 5D to 4D solution to wave-function collapse in the first days after the 11-21-22 post. I answered the top two questions posed at the Strings 2000 physics conference so am 22 years ahead of every physicist on this planet. Most of the papers I wrote over the first 20 years are available on the Summary page at my 241mumbers.com website and the papers on the cosmology I wrote over the last two years are available in serial order on my Facebook page, culminating in the 11-21-22 paper

In a nutshell, the above is from the concluding sections of the preceding chapter 1 - God's Unified Five Dimensional Universe as - I DID NOT POST THE ABOVE, GOD DID!!!!!!!!!!!

You're loved Sean, for all your efforts to understand the world you exist in.

Now let the World go. Be happy, or at the very least content. It's all been done before, there is nothing new under the sun. You don't have to carry all of that burden yourself, and no one expects you to.

Some music to make you smile:

Yes, all those migrants, immigrants, are predominantly Catholic. It's a huge family, from culturally Catholic like myself (what does "recovering Catholic" even mean? Like, you grew up? lol). I'm Ireland born, came to Canada with the family, usual story, dad went first, mom and us kids later. Just us, all the rest dead and alive in Ireland. The reality of life here changed my parents - work work work. The church went into the back seat. But, we were all schooled in Catholic schools. What did we learn? We're part of a family, and that family is diverse on their adherence to the church.

Like Michael, we had young hippie priests, two of them from Rochester NY - and a youngish pastor. Before them was an old alcoholic pastor who was amusing if nothing else at Sunday mass.

What did I learn? Compassion, empathy, first and foremost- and - strength - you are above no one and beneath no one. Except the enlightened one who walked the earth, JC. Hard act to follow. Looking back I'd sum it up as "do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Yeah, I made up sins in confession too, what else was there to chat about in that box with the screen? If I'd any notion at the time that it was just a chat I'd have been in there for an hour. Do I know now that the priest behind the screen knew that? Yes. LOL

Michael, so spot on. Drumpf would go full stop on his Migrant /Haitian attacks if the media focused on Catholic abuse instead of immigrants from a steamy island or the South American invasion. Great recollection of your Catholic upbringing. I remember when I taught at a Catholic school and would take my students to the church for confession. The students all knew the cool priest . When my wife was in Catholic grade school, at home she pretended to be a nun complete with a black slip over her head as she forced her siblings to be in her made up school class.

Yes agreed , the media usually skips the part about the violent criminals that also are millionaires. Thanks again for another great podcast.

This whole interview was fixated on the dementia issue without mentioning that at least his father Fred had Alzheimer's/dementia, which I learned when I posted A Comparison of President Biden's Mental Competency to Donald Trump's to every response. After the idiot went into a long rant about choosing between being electrocuted by a battery on a sinking boat or eaten by a shark Robert Reich's newsletter (7-8-24, 8-8-24) posted Why isn’t the media reporting on Trump’s growing dementia?

why does Michael Moore not care more about the Ukraine war? there are far more dead there than in Gaza (but still, thank you for amplifying the Gaza atrocities!). The warmongers that include oil companies and the military industrial complex deceptively started the Ukraine war for their benefit. They did this by paying off Ukraine politicians ($5 billion starting in 2013) to be "pro-joining" to Nato and paying neo-nazis in the Donbass region of Ukraine (and other areas of Ukraine) to beat up and kill Russians living there (what would USA do if dozens or hundreds of american citizens were being killed in Mexico? we would do something!) . This made Russian citizens and Putiin angry which triggered the war. Listen to former Colonel George MacGregor of the US Army.

Taking action can reduce stress! Let’s mail Get-out-the-vote postcards to urge everyone to vote Blue! Some people hand-write the message and addresses in colorful markers. That’s very time-consuming - and my hand writing is terrible. So I buy cards with pre-printed voter instructions, and addresses printed right on the cards (or on sheets of Avery labels they provide). You can often buy stamps there, too!

You want cards with the Voterizer QR code (or web address) printed on. The recipient aims their smart phone camera at the code, a web site appears, they enter their state - in a flash, they can check if they’re registered, register if they are not (in some states, they have until 14 days before the election!). They can also ask for a mail-in ballot. Right then and there!

Check out Field Team 6 - https://www.fieldteam6.org/postcarding1 - and Blue Wave - https://shop.bluewavepostcards.org/ - for great pre-printed cards.

Unless you want to do a lot of writing, check the card’s back view before ordering - some cards have state-specific imagery on the front, but blank backs. If you get pre-printed cards, you only need to write a couple sentences in a colorful fine-tip marker.

I’ve sent out 350 cards already to GA, AZ, PA, and MI. Who will join me?

I should add, it's not something new, they've been around forever. Look at Spain's history for instance. What is interesting to me is the current trend of they politically conservative in the US converting to Catholicism. I've wondered if it is a type of Catholicism unique to America. Certainly the Vatican has for some years now criticized a lot of what goes down in America's 'version'. Is it the beginning of a schism?

It's no surprise to me. Many catholics in the world are social conservatives.

About 80% of our politicians belong to the organized crime corporations that run this country, Trump is insane, as well as a hypocrite, making fun of low income people getting help through welfare, when our corrupt politicians give trillions in corporate welfare to the corporations, each year. Trump while president gave corporations billions of dollars, adding to the national debt, our government thinks the taxpayer's money is their own personal piggy bank. A low income friend of mine, needed food stamps at a time when the food industry upped their price gauging a long with the Fossil Fuel Industry was seriously price gauging gas, and he only got $44.00 per month, because our government does not give anything but crumbs to people who cannot contribute to political campaigns. Our politicians steal what ever money they need to have the best healthcare in the world while our poor, Middle Class, and elderly get little to no healthcare, their healthcare is around 40th or 50th in the world. The government is so corrupt they are using insider trading to make millions of dollars, when if the public uses insider trading they go to prison, the laws of this country, including the Constitution are a farce, propaganda and disinformation used by our organized crime government, so people think they have rights and a democracy.

For months I have been approaching virtually all of progressive media trying to get them to publish
