I just got caught up with your series today....Thank you, Mr. Moore. You came the closest to anyone in predicting the midterms. I KNOW your voice penetrates all the noise out here. Keep it up.

Northern California--in my 70's and looking forward to turning as much as possible of this country to blue. Think we should be talking about if Biden and Kamala can do it. however.

I am wondering being in a blue county in Ca, how to help the non blue counties? Anyone here in those red counties? Or do I try and help virtually those pesky red states?

Hi Mike, HNY!! I love your idea to roundup my local dems in my very red trumpian town. I know a thing or two about church basements, coffee pots and it takes just 2 people to have a meeting thinking...interesting. Very interesting.

I'm pensive when I think about attending school board or town meetings, like just this side of a panic attack pensive. I'd have to bring my new local dem friends... Ooooo Great name idea!!!

'Dem Friends of Maine'...huh? Right? The right will no doubt coin us the dumb friends of Maine, which will be cool. Then I won't have to talk to them because I'm dumb...lol. Damn it I'm funny!!!

Peace2u's Keep trudging today and together we can build a true blue tomorrow!! 2023 better get ready for me!!

In 2010 no one got elected in Livonia. After 6 years as County District and later 8 years as President in Livonia,.. in 2018 we got EVERYONE elected! Blue Dots in “enemy territory?” With hard work and thinking OUTSIDE the (Poli-Sci-101) Box,.. it CAN be done!

Bartow, Cherokee, and Cobb Counties make up most of Georgia's 11th congressional district. Cobb is pretty reliably blue (60-40 for Warnock over Walker and Biden over Trump). Cherokee and Bartow are even more reliably red, delivering margins of 70-30. So our blue "lake" of Cobb borders on the Red Sea of Cherokee to the north -- the biggest vote-getting county for Republicans in the state. (And our 11th borders the district served by Marjorie Taylor Greene.)

Focusing on Cherokee, the first thing I did was run the numbers: just over 200,000 registered voters and a 55% to 65% turnout for elections. That means roughly 80,000 voters are sitting on the sidelines in elections being won by 40,000 votes.

I ask myself about the 100,000 to 110,000 who vote for Republicans. How much of that 70% are voting because of social pressure. In other words, how much of that group IS persuadable in addition to the non-voters. I suspect the churches have a lot of influence. How much of a place is red due to a high concentration of Christian nationalist thinking? -- a question I keep asking myself.
