Thank you. For your boost of hope and faith in American voters. For your historical knowledge and willingness to share it with all of us. I’m an educated and curious, reading, researcher and I didn’t know about that earlier white nationalist rally in the same spot. When I heard Trump was holding this event at MSG I felt sick that there could be enough people who think as he thinks, to fill that venue. Seeing a clip from a rally this week where Tucker Carlson screamed to ‘us all’ that it is time for “Daddy to come home” as he described a theoretical, insolent teenaged daughter who slams her door - needing “Daddy to come give her a spanking that would HURT HER way more than it hurt him” … and the MAGA crowd cheered.

And today I read the NYT saying Trump has the edge. Morning Joe saying utter dead heat. Trump isn’t even what breaks my soul - it’s what and WHOM he represents that breaks my soul. This country refuses - generation after generation - to take accountability for what ‘white Christian nationalists’ have done to enslave, destroy and eradicate land, animals, nature and other human beings. We cannot truly evolve until we take accountability.

Yesterday ‘Daddy’ said places like ‘The Congo’ were dumping their trash into the United States. Then repeated ‘America is a garbage can’ half dozen times.

And the crowd screamed in delight.

As my soul broke.

My saving grace last night was the Walz rally in North Carolina where I watched James Taylor and his family sing “Shower the People” to a much larger crowd and hearing us all - myself included - sing in unison, “Shower the people you love with love. Show them the way that you feel. Things are gonna be alright if you only will …”

Only two weekend left to GOTV.

It's not a deadheat. I never believed that. It'd media needing to keep the story active. No way is this country going to fall to this would-be fuhrer.

the whole Hitler thing is a bunch of lies. The whole fascism and white supremecy is all exaggerated by democrats that don't have enough issues to run on. That's all they have. And I've been a democrat my whole life - I campaigned for RFK jr and now I'm camapaigning for Trump. I even went to the womens march after trump was inaugurated 8 years ago to protest his presidency! I did a complete 180 and now I back him after the corruptioin of covid and science and healthcare and just *everything*. RFK will guide Trump to make the better choices now.

You must have lost your mind somewhere along the way. People who know him and worked with him are finally speaking up. Have you stopped believing your own eyes and ears? You're in trouble.

Vague statement. What are you talking about specifically?

Another white man for trump!

You're racist?

They don't even know what fascism is. They don't even know that Biden rewrote historic civil rights laws and took rights away from people. They have nothing but fear and outrage. Nothing. No ideas. No vision.

How is Trump like Hitler? He fully supports jews and Israel. Be specific.

He want to be a dictator like all his pals: Putin, Plus the Chinese guy and the Hungarian guy and the N Korea guy. All fascist dictators.

The Republicans and Democrats are using abortion as wedge issue to cover up their treason. If you think the Democrats are protecting a woman's right to choose--you're wrong. I personally gave the Democrats irrefutable evidence of judicial misconduct by Amy Coney Barrett at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing. They refused to it. Now these unscrupulous bastards are campaigning on protecting a woman's right to choose when they are at least partially to blame for letting Barrett on the Supreme Court in the first place.

I wrote about this in my book: The Illusion of Justice. (There is a link for a free digital copy of my book in my post today.

So, do you like the idea of wearing Pussy Hats again?

That’s all I’m asking, thanks for sharing your opinions, maybe someplace else would be better?

It's not my opinion--it's documented fact. I can only assume from your comment that you don't want the American people to know the truth.

I like Mike.

But thanks for sharing!

I went to the womens march in DC to protest when Trump was elected (even gave him the finger when he drove past on inauguration day), it was huge, 500K people. Now, 8 years later I'm supporting RFK and Trump and maybe I'll go to the inauguration to celebrate Trump getting elected and bringing RFK into his administration. RFK knows who is honest and will help Trump pick his administration. I think a lot of people are sick of the corruption of this country and want honest people to be in power.

The Republicans and Democrats have been conspiring together to pack the courts with corrupt corporate judges who will never side with the American people. The Republicans describe these corrupt judges as pro-life. The Democrats pretend they are opposed but refuse to do anything to block their confirmation or remove them when they flagrantly violate the Code of Conduct for United States Judges.

If the Democrats really wanted to protect a woman's right to choose, they would have used the documented proof of Amy Coney Barrett's judicial misconduct I had given them at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

The Democrats aren't really pro-choose--they're pro-corruption like the Republicans. If you would like to know what these two demonstrably corrupt political parties have been up to, I strongly suggest that you read my post today. (It's not an accident that my post was shoved back to the very end of this platform.)

It's surprising that only 55% of Americans support Medicare for All. Could it be that the potential benefits of this system, such as improved access to healthcare and reduced financial burden, are not being fully understood?

It's a sobering fact that more lives are lost prematurely each year in the US due to our disjointed insurance and healthcare system than the total casualties in Gaza over the past year. This underscores the urgent need for a single-payer universal healthcare system.

First, we need to get Harris elected because we're not going to be able to accomplish our goals for working and retired people under a Trump dictatorship.

Expand full comment

"trump dictatorship", We have plenty of government corruption now - with Robert F Kennedy helping and guiding Trump we will have much less. We desperately need reform of the government. The revolving door from governement regulator to corporations needs to end. Robert F Kennedy will be the point man to do this for Trump. RFK will be allowed to pick some of Trump's cabinet officials which is a huge win for the American people because Robert F Kennedy knows who is honest. In Trump's first term, Trump did not know who was the honest person to trust. But RFK knows who to trust.

I don't know the population of the greater NYC area in the 1930s, but when I grew up there in the 50s-70s, we were already around 8 million I think. So if it was half that, 4m, in 1939, only 20k traitors out of 4m people, I'd believe .005% of the people today are equally passionate about hating others. And willing to show it. How many of those young kids were deluded?

While encouraging it helps me understand why so many people support him. They've been there all the time just underground until Obama' presidency and Trump’s rhetoric released them. Once we win this election, each of us will be called upon to create the America we want to see. No more sitting around the dinner table or at social gatherings as Uncle Jack or best friend Joanne makes disparaging remarks about other people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Accepting that for the country to be better we might have to make sacrifices, a bit more taxes for services that benefit others more than they benefit us. Knowing that while you don't need mental health services, better schools, better health services, not involved in the criminal justice system now but you might be one day, you are mindful there are others who do need and are affected by these things. Know that what affects one affects all

To complete my comment we must be prepared for personal changes this will require for all of us. I am confident we can do this.

I can feel the fear here in Ireland if Trump is elected, we are also going to suffer .

He has a passion of hate for us in Europe .
