I sincerely believe that if the President of the United States could bring the war in Gaza to an end, Biden would have done it already. According to recent reporting, while speaking about Netanyahu, Biden let loose with more expletives in a paragraph than I use all day long. I think he also just issued an ultimatum to Bibi -- maybe Kamala can loudly endorse that?

But the President can't end the war in Gaza. Not without toppling the government in Israel.

If toppling the government in Israel is really what it takes, so be it. Natanyahu is a monster and needs to be removed. But Biden and the US don't have to do it alone. All we have to do is affirm our support of the UN resolution naming Netanyahu as a war criminal, and vote to support his arrest, removal from office, and imprisonment. Is there any other nation on the Secutiry Council who still refuses to condemn him? If there is not, changing our position could put him out of power and behind bars. The US aid to Israel, of course, could stop tomorrow.

The Illusion of Justice's avatar

If you really want to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing, you are going to have to show the American people concrete proof that both major political parties have sold them out. My book does exactly that and I am willing to give it away for free. All you have to do is read it. (There is link for a free digital copy in this post.)

My name is Ted Martin. I have finished writing a book about my first hand encounters with a morbidly corrupt federal judicial system. The book is titled: The Illusion of Justice and contains documented, incontrovertible proof of widespread systemic corruption in the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Supreme Court, the Administrative Office of United States Courts, the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Supreme Court not only ignored two of the most egregious cases of judicial misconduct imaginable (my cases) but also an amicus brief by former Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Richard Posner in which he blows the whistle on rampant corruption in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Judge Posner’s amicus brief is posted on the Supreme Court’s website at www.supremecourt.gov and can be accessed by typing in the following case number: Martin v. Living Essentials (Case No. 17-8352)

It will be painfully obvious to anyone who reads my book (or Judges Posner’s amicus brief) that the Supreme Court denies certiorari without even bothering to read the petitions submitted by the citizens of the United States. This obscene betrayal of the public trust is a clear-cut violation of every Justice’s judicial oath and a crime under federal law that is commonly referred to as honest services fraud.

In short, my book proves that the leaders of both the Republican and Democratic parties have been conspiring together to pack the courts with corrupt corporate judges who will never side with the American people. This was abundantly clear when Senator Chuck Schumer and the other Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee repeatedly refused to use irrefutable evidence of judicial misconduct by Amy Coney Barrett (a Republican nominee) at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing.

This bipartisan band of seditious conspirators also refused to address the underlying corruption in clear violation of their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

The only difference between the two major political parties is the rhetoric. The special interest groups running this country don’t give a damn which bribe taking stooge you vote for or even if you vote at all. They have already successfully rigged every election by controlling “our” choices.

The leaders of both the Republican and Democratic parties have been caught red-handed conspiring to pack the courts with corrupt judges who will never side with you. If there was ever a reason to be a one issue voter, this is it. Besides, any politician caught lying about their fidelity to the Constitution and laws of the United States is obviously lying about everything—particularly their agenda.

Republicans push the corrupt corporate agenda. Democrats pretend to be opposed. Together, they sell their offices to the highest bidders. They foment war for the military industrial complex, promote racism for the prison industrial complex, refuse to restrict access to assault weapons for the gun manufactures, permit large quantities of toxic cancer causing chemicals to be dumped into our air, land, and water for the chemical manufactures, deny needed medical care to our country’s citizens for the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries, and turn a willful blind eye to the catastrophic effects of global warming for the fossil fuel industries. The list of their greed fueled crimes against humanity goes on and on.

Voting your current elected representatives out of office should be a no brainer. But, to make sure that they are not replaced with another batch of equally corrupt corporate stooges, we’re also going to have to take back both the Republican and Democratic parties and get the money out of politics.

While this may appear to be a daunting task, all we really need is a sound plan. After giving this matter some careful consideration, I have the following proposal: We agree to put aside all of our ideological differences and unite as Americans in support of the Constitution of the United States.

If you read my book, it really won’t be that difficult. You will know who the real enemy is and it certainly isn’t your fellow citizens. We just need to become one issue voters. Ignore their contrived wedge issues, bullshit talking points, and cringe worthy campaign ads. If they are not fighting tooth and nail to get the money out of politics—don’t legitimize them with your vote.

Seriously, if in doubt—throw them out. Besides, any government official who is not forcefully calling for the resignations of the corrupt leaders of their own political party is, by definition, violating their oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Whether Republican or Democrat, a treasonous corporate criminal is a treasonous corporate criminal, they serve the same master and nothing is going to change until we get the money out of politics.

*You get the money out of politics by publicly funding elections, banning all campaign contributions, and, in exchange for their broadcasting/operating licenses, requiring news organizations to give every candidate for public office an equal amount of free advertising space.

In the future, I may write a book titled: The Illusion of Journalism. But for now, I’m just going to say that the media is not going to help anyone blow the whistle on their partners in crime. In the past four years, I couldn’t find a single news organization that hadn’t sold us out.

All an honest journalist would have to do is read Judge Posner’s amicus brief to know that the courts are irretrievably corrupt. Reading my book will conclusively show that the courts are corrupt by design.

If you want a government that actually acts in your best interests, I urge you and everyone you know to read my book as soon as possible. You can get a digital copy of my book free of charge at the link below: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_vaMH1riLodzOfQn0kI7ow0RDrPM0NqE/view?usp=sharing

P.S. I blame the Federalist Society for the corruption in the federal judicial system. The six so-called conservative justices on the Supreme Court, Mitch McConnell, and all the Republican Senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee are members of the Federalist Society. Donald Trump picked “his” judicial nominees from lists provided by the Federalist Society.

I didn’t know that the Democrats were in on it until I tried to give them proof of judicial misconduct by Amy Coney Barrett at her Supreme Court confirmation hearing. If you would like to read about their reprehensible conduct, you can skip ahead to the Postscript on page 221 of my book. But, by all means, read the rest of the book.

The corruption is undeniable. The judges in both of my cases incorporated the defendant’s fraudulent defenses into their opinions even after I pointed out the fraud in every brief that I filed. These “judges” are clearly taking dictation from corporate defense counsel without even reading the plaintiff’s briefs.

Harris and Trump are NOT "all the same." Thinking like that—and throwing your vote away on Jill Stein—is helping Trump to win; and it's not hyperbole at all to say that if Trump wins, that may just be the end of our democracy. Surely people on this Subsrtack are more informed about who Trump really is and what he plans to do than that. Is Harris lily-white? Maybe not; I haven't seen any evidence of corruption. But I have seen tons of proof that she cares for the welfare of the American people, and she is not planning to turn America into a dictatorship. Which Trump most assuredly would like to do. Whether or not he would succeed may be debatable, but he has made it glaringly obvious that he cares nothing about America or the constitution. He cares only about himself. Those 88 indictments and 34 convictions were not "rigged persecution" by the Biden Administration: they were the result of unanimous "guilty" verdicts by juries in 4 states and 6 jurisdictions. Ralph Nader was an admirable person; worhty of respect. But people who voted for Nader in 2000 are responisible for the George W Bush administration, the bulk of the federal deficit, the Iraq war, etc. And people who voted for Jill Stein (who is not remotely as admirable as Nader) in 2016 are absolutely responsible for Trump's election, most of the rest of the federal deficit, the horrible number of deaths from the pandemic, the US being pulled out of the Paris Accords, and attacks on solar & wind power and setbacks suffered in dealing with climate change. If you really care about the environment, don't vote for Jill Stein. She can't win. And votes for her just help Trump, who REALLY couldn't care less about environment.

Jill Steion has undoubtedly done a great many good things for the planet, but she's smart enough to know that she has no chance of becoming President; and that all of her voteers would vote Democratic if she were not on the ballot. She's not siphoning any votes from Trump; and her being the ballot makes it more likely Trump will win—and that would be very bad news for every initiative she claims to care about. By being on the ballot, she is hurting all of the programs she claims to advocate for.

I am all for having a viable Green Party in the US; and I personally would vote for any Green Party candidate that had a chance of winning. If Stein really wants to effect change in the world (and especially the environment), she should focus her energies on organizing the party, recruiting membership and candidates for winnable elections, and then raise suppor for those candidates. If she herself really wants to serve in elective office, she might have a chance to win a congressional seat in her home state. As a member of Congress she could do much both to help the environment and to strengthen her party to the point that they can perhaps field a Senatorial or even Presidential candidate who has a chance of winning.—some day; certainly not in 2024. And since voting in American elections is secret, there is no such thing as voting to make a statement. No one will know whom you vote for; they will just know that the Green Party and Stein got at most 1% of the vote, and therefore the Democratic candidate got 1% less of the vote. Which might make Trump the winner. ANYTHING that helps Trump win is working against environmental issues.

Yes, we know Biden continues to support Israel, and that's why Michael Moore is begging Kamala to say she will change that policy more forcefully. Biden (and Congressional Democrats) have implored Congress to authorize more money, but Speaker Johnson has so far refused to convene the House to vote for more funding. Even so, Biden has done everything possible to funnel more money to FEMA; and I do not believe there has been a problem so far. Local support has been great; and that's wonderful. I'v e been a part of that too. But I don't think you can say FEMA has let anybody down: just the opposite; Trump's lies about FEMA have caused problems with victims refusing to accept aid from FEMA. It's despicable what Trump has done at a time of great national disaster. No other President in our history has actually gotten in the way of the government trying to do its job and help the victims. 💯. Money in politics is out of control for both parties. Look at musk money to the fuhrer. I'm sure Harris gets big bucks too. That also needs to change.

Not enough emphasis yet on how she will stop it - but the Israeli trump already doesn’t like her. I think he’ll continue the killing in Gaza and elsewhere until after the election to put his thumb on the scale for trump. Remember the Carter/reagan gambit?

Could not more agree, & thank you for (as always) speaking so respectfully, evenhandedly . . . Perhaps you can get thru to Kamala, but this is not the first time she has been approached w/ this message. Is it some kind of “respect” for Biden that is holding her back? Or-? Puzzling & certainly concerning . . .

Harris is a bribe taking stooge like the rest of our politicians. She will always do exactly what the "donors" want them to do. This is not opinion, it's fact. If you want to stop the corruption, read my post today.

The corruption starts at the top! If there is an honest politician, what difference does it make? For example, when you have an oil lobbyist running the EPA, it doesn't matter if the rank and file public officials are doing their jobs--nothing is change.

Exactly. Or if the liberal billionaire governor of Illinois whose family invests in the synthetic sex industry mandates gender ideology in public schools....or if our politicians are owned by BIG PHARMA and mandate vaccines....

At least with Harris as president, there’s a chance that, with a democratic house and Senate, this can be changed.

There is a no chance in hell the Trump will overturn Citizens United. Corporations should not be allowed to donate these massive fun do any presidential campaign. It is literally a bribe.

I appreciate your efforts, Michael. I've honestly stopped trying to convince people of literally anything anymore. I get called a Russian troll by Democrats when I criticize the Democratic Party for their obvious shortcomings. I'm going to let people make their mistakes, even the really big ones that harm others. You can only repeat yourself so many times before becoming discouraged. The U.S. democracy experiment is over as far as in concerned. We've got a warmongering corporacratic genocide enabler with no plan against a senile narcissistic lunatic. We're at a place with no winners except the ruling class. Why can't you and other progressives get together behind a third party? You're still trying to get a tiger to change its stripes. Real change will only come from something different than we've tried.

How can we send it to her over and over?

But is she listening? Every day, even though it's harder to see how, the news is more and more appalling. She's got to wake up.

Blinkin should have issued the 30 day warning a year ago. It's horrifying. They should have issued a 3 day warning.

People are willing to give up our own civil rights to end the ethnic cleansing.

that theoretical line in the sand from Biden was crossed how many times and how long ago? A US threat is taken as a joke now by Israel. If we wanted action, we would have immediately stopped all shipments of any tech/weapons/assistance to Israel many many months ago. That's what it is apparently going to take.

Thank you for your perfect words to Vice president Harris. Hoping your letter will touch her and make her act immediately in getting Biden to end the massacre. Bibi should be put away for good with his government. I’ve given up hope in our world’s governments. Too much at stake to stop a madman???

We absolutely don’t live in a democracy; all these protests and who’s listening and acting. There’s only constatation empathy and paralysis. Isn’t Bibi up for arrest? And the 30days of Biden to get food and pétrole in…and even if aid does get into Gaza it will only be stopped and ramsacked

by the settlers. Feeling powerless ashamed and deeply saddened

That so-called 30 day warning is ridiculous. It should have been 2 weeks notice max, not a minute more. And the entire UN needs to be on board with this.

Mike, This is a great letter, but I fear it doesn't go far enough. We must stop the flow of offensive weapons. What enables Israel to perpetuate genocide in Gaza, and now wage war across other Middle Eastern countries, is the continuous shipment of weaponry (18 billion worth) from the US. The majority of Americans are against this, but the Biden/Harris team seems oblivious to the criticism, determined to stand with Israel no matter what "red lines" are crossed, and despite clear violation of international law. Given the Republican opposition, Harris' stance puts our democracy in peril.

Best reply yet. Let’s not forget the almost hidden horrors settlers are doing to hard working and homecoming citizens of the West Bank. Proves Israel is certainly pursuing genocide against Muslims.

And then taunting Iran, which does NOT want war after what they went through during war in Iraq. These are truly loving people, educated, who consider their snd our governments “crazy,” for sure the truth. And poor Lebanon. Always striving to just survive. It seems that the US agrees with Israel that Hamas and Hezbullah ARE all the people of Palestine and Lebanon and therefore all terrorists,

What really made me question Harris was her public announcement of pleasure in the murder of the chief of Hezbullah.

No trials, no research into the issues, pure vengeance , lack of goal of peace.

War snd money hungry. Biden and Harris also? Of course and so sad plus scary.

UN can’t help. Despite prominent role in setting up Israel, thanks Ralph Bunche, the UN and Israel have long been enemies, viewed by Israel as biased because of their support for

Palestinians,.

Biden and already Harris can force Israel to end this monstrous murderous war, simply no money or weapons. That would enable the Israeli people to have a new election, if not at war, despite briefly continuing retaliation from their current victims.

Come on, Harris! You were a great prosecutor. Isn’t Israel the worst war criminal? (after Kissinger,Bush 2, and also currently the two despicable warring chiefs in Sudan).

Stop this miserable war!

Thank you, Michael Moore! Exactly! As one of your readers said, Kamala has said what you pointed out, but not loud enough. Now is the time to say it loudly, and with conviction! And without fear from what Israeli PM will say or think. After all both Palestinians and Israelis wish to leave in peace, work in peace, raise their families in peace. But what about the devastation of Gaza carried out by the IDF? That must be addressed immediately as well. Being raised by heroic parents, Frans and Maria Braal in coastal Netherlands during WWII, I understand what it means to be occupied and confronted day in and day out.
