I’m so heartened by our students. I studied the occupation of Palestine on a university level 2001-2003 but nearly got expelled for it. The internet was not nearly as extensive as it is now. There was no social media, YouTube, cell phones etc and there were no demonstrations for Palestine. Most Americans knew nothing about it. That’s how Israel got away with crimes against humanity for so long. Now the curtain has been pulled back and we all see

Israel's actions do not meet the definition of "genocide". In fact, Hamas' publicly stated intent *is* genocide, the complete destruction of Israel. (As is Putin's intent and actions regarding Ukraine... where are the student protestors for that actual ongoing genocide?)
40,000 killed in Gaza, but a significant percentage of these are Hamas fighters (who, in violation of all laws of modern warfare, purposely embed themselves among civilian populations and institutions, and have no regard for human life.) All of these Palestinians are "martyrs"?! It is tragic that so many have died, and that so many are non-combatants. But the rhetoric is very unbalanced. Trump says … he was gone… in reference to Cohen . He then flashes the White Power hand salute, for the second time after mentioning Cohen.
After watch ing the entire speech, I noticed he repeatedly flashed the White Power salute and then made a finger point, like a child pretending to shoot a gun. That’s how he ended his speech.
