All 5 State Chapters of Moms Demand Action to Participate
All five Michigan chapters of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will hold a statewide rally Saturday for commonsense laws to reduce gun violence in our communities. The family-friendly event takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Capitol in Lansing.
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (www.momsdemandaction.org) is a national nonpartisan grassroots movement founded after the Sandy Hook Elementary School killings. Moms Demand Action seeks solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our children and families. Moms Demand Action is not asking our government to ban guns. We simply support commonsense solutions to the overwhelming and increasing epidemic of gun violence in America. Eight children are shot and killed every day in America.
