Photos of Fahrenheit From Across America

The photos have begun to pour in, and we're still looking for more. Try to limit the photo size to 500K or less (preferably less, but we understand that sometimes these new gadgets are hard to control). We've already posted some pictures below, from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon. We'll be posting more over the next several hours, so feel free to check back. Thanks for sending them in and thanks for going to see the movie. If you have photographs, send them our way.

CHECK OUT THE PICTURES:

In New York's East Village, Fahrenheit 9/11 showed every 45 minutes. The demand was so high that the theater decided to continue showing the film all night long.

On Wednesday, all showings at Lincoln Plaza in NYC had sold out by 5 PM.

At the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, shortly before midnight on Thursday the line to get in stretched down the block. Here's what it looked like once everyone got inside.

The line was equally long in Portland, Maine for the early afternoon showing today.

Across the country in Portland, Oregon, movie-goers doubled up and filled the hallway waiting their turn to see the film. Its the same scene back on the east coast in Gaithersberg, Maryland.

The scene in Hollywood at midnight last night was a little less orderly. At the Brooklyn Academy of Music's movie theater, the attitude seems more calm.

People in Fort Lauderdale line up for a noon showing.

In Philadelphia, the line stretched around the block for the at the 11:15 AM showing. By noon, all shows had sold out. And a local CBS news crew was there to cover the whole thing... but did they?

More to come later... stay tuned, and send your pictures, too!
