Egypt Is Only the Beginning
Until each one of us, as individuals, incites our own internal revolution in thought, in feeling, in the core of our consciousness, nothing we do to redecorate the world on the outside will make a difference. The people of Egypt realized that they were free already - free to disobey and to declare their independence.
We in America are not oppressed. In America, we are willfully ignorant. We are willing victims. We will snap out of it the day we no longer see a value in being helpless and stupid. The moment we are willing to assume responsibility for our own lives instead of handing it over to the overlords, we will begin to know what real freedom feels like.
Apathy is the problem. Passion is the solution.
LET'S GET TO WORK on removing the Plutocracy in this country. Let's take the power back from Wall Street, from the Military Industrial Complex. Let's be next to peacefully shift power from the privileged few to the restless many - the people who do all the work and deserve to have a government that reflects OUR interests instead of the piggish appetites of the power elite. Egypt is just the beginning.
