US mil: Marine dies in non-combat incident in Iraq
BAGHDAD (AP) — The U.S. military says an American Marine has died as the result of a non-combat related incident in Iraq.A statement says the Multi National Force — West Marine died Tuesday west of Baghdad in the Anbar province.
It doesn't give more details but says the incident is under investigation.
At least 4,263 American service members have died in Iraq since the war began in March 2003. That's according to an Associated Press Count.
