Drones fly over North, South Waziristan
PESHAWAR: US Predator spy planes flew over North and South Waziristan agencies for the whole day on Wednesday but there were no reports of any attack in the area.
Eyewitnesses said two drones appeared in the sky early in the morning and hovered over the villages of Miramshah, including Ghulam Khan, Dattakhel, Dandy, Darpakhel, Speenwam and Razmak, in North Waziristan.
They continued flight throughout the day with a few recessions. There were also reports of CIA-operated drones flying over various parts of the South Waziristan, including Wana, Azam Warsak, Shakai and Birmal.
Worried tribesmen continued to observe movement of the drone with reports that they were fired upon by the tribesmen in some of the areas. However, there was no report of an attack by the drones in the area.
