Subject: SEC: UNCLASSIFIED:-G'day
G'day Mike,
First of all I would love to thank you. You have opened my eyes to the world
of politics and how we are kept very much in the dark about what our elected
leaders are actually up to. I'm a married, 24 yr old soldier in the Australian
Army. I have been on operational deployment in East Timor helping a country
rebuild after the Indonesian Government pretty well raped the landscape. I am
slowly becoming disheartened as I feel like I'm not achieving anything within
the Army anymore. I am not a militaristic megalomaniac (although some would
disagree). I simply want to feel like I'm achieving something, and doing some
good for the world You have inspired me to pursue a political career in order
to correct the problems in our society and if possible make it to the Senate
or higher. I want neither power nor money (ok, I lied about the money) I just
want to make things right, and stop our country from pissing in other countries
pockets and screwing the less fortunate.
Yours faithfully
Steven.
p.s. If you want me to prove my worth, I'll mosh.
