mr. moore,
On the night of this past year’s Academy Awards, I luckily turned on
the TV as I was packing for Afghanistan. I would have quickly turned the channel
had i not heard them announcing the Best Documentary nominations. . .useless
information, i will keep this short and maximize the time you can spend bringing
down the evil that is in power. . . When I heard your speech, and i don't posses
the grammar to describe it, i felt great, like how i would imagine it would
be to win the lottery. Reading your latest book sickens me as it should any
human being. Please continue down this path you are clearing towards the heart
of the evil empire. I'm not a writer so I don't know if that made sense but
it sounded dramatic. I could commend you on a thousand things you have said
but i will just stop and thank you for the inspiration you have brought me.

Subject: my son in the army
Michael,
Thanks to my son in the army, I know your books and watch you whenever I can.
He made me watch "roger and me" years ago, and continues to pay great
attention to you. You give me hope. You are my hero. You are his hero. Thanks
for writing your books and inciting people to react to the idiot in office.
Coming out of formation one day, my son's NCO noticed the flag at half mast,
and the officer commented hopefully, " oh did Bush die?"...alas, they
realized it was the anniversary of 9/11 and their hopes were dashed.
Thanks again for all you do. and keep doing it.
