H. Candace Gorman is the principal in the law office of H. Candace Gorman. The firm concentrates in Civil Rights and Human Rights. In 2005 Attorney Gorman suspended her law practice to handle habeas corpus petitions probono for two detainees. One of those detainees was released in March, 2010 and the other still remains at the Guantanamo prison. Gorman also maintains a blog about the Guantanamo litigation at http://gtmoblog.blogspot.com/
